Arts and Sciences College Minimum Requirements Suggested Minors/2nd Majors/Upper Division Electives: Total credit hours = 120 Peace & Justice Studies Anthropology 300/400 level credit hours = 48 American Studies Minimum credit hours taught in A&S = 90 Women, Gender, Sexuality Studies Languages or any specific language Religion Studies University Residence Requirements International Sustainability Studies Minimum hours = 30 Ethnic Studies , i.e. Latin America, Asian, Africana, etc. Senior standing = 15 past 92 Concentrations & Focus At least 50% of Major Students must select a Thematic Concentration and Area Study Concentration. Complete list is in INTS Handbook and At least 25% of Minor website. INTS core courses in Social Sciences and Humanities correspond to UNM core courses. Study abroad is a requirement component, unless approved by A&S Advisor and Department Chair. Minimum graduation GPA = 2.00 Important Notes Keep in mind that minimum grades on road map are for individual coursework only. Students The International Studies major is customized to every student's goals and interests. Therefore it is not recommended that this must maintain a minimum of a 2.0 cumulative grade point average for admission to and roadmap is used by students on their own.
