LA Sanitation and Environment (LASAN) Partnering with YMCA to Provide Additional Hygiene Facilities to Unsheltered Angelenos during COVID-19 Emergency
The County Department of Public Health and the Center for Disease Control have provided guidelines for basic hygiene practices to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. In order to help meet those guidelines, LASAN is partnering with the YMCA to provide additional hygiene facilities for unsheltered Angelenos. LASAN will provide showers, bathrooms and locker rooms at nine YMCA facilities, from 9:00am - 2:00pm, including:

These nine facilities will supplement the six mobile hygiene units currently deployed by LASAN and 17 by the Board of Public Works for unsheltered residents.
All participants will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms before accessing the facilities.
