Etymology. Cystidia P. centrali-africana, and P. guyanensis, sharing the same whit- or other sterile elements absent. Basidia 14–20 × 4–6 μm, ish colour. However, they are micro-morphologically different clavate with four sterigmata. Basidiospores 3–4 × 2–4 μm, (Table 1 - see FP 612). globose to subglobose, hyaline, thick-walled and dextrinoid.

Typus. Brazil, Amapá, Porto Grande, Floresta Nacional do Amapá, on wood decay, Sept. 2013, A. Soares, AS 914 (holotype URM 89947, isotype in O, ITS and LSU sequences GenBank KX584437 and KX619595, MycoBank MB816407).
