Student accumulated hall sweeps are erased at the beginning of each quarter throughout the school year. *Please remember even though your student is called in, it may not be an “excused tardy”. Pants/shorts worn below the waist are deemed inappropriate and unsafe. If your child chooses not to follow the policy, the following administrative actions will be taken: The student will be brought down to their sub-school where a zip-tie will be placed between two belt loops in the back of their pants. The student will sign a contract that states that they will not tamper with the zip-tie for the remainder of the day. If they tamper with a zip-tie and it is removed before the end of the day, the student will be suspended home with a parent conference. Any further violations of this policy will lead to progressive disciplinary actions. Any questions about the dress policy can be seen on page 18 of the Horlick Parent/Student Handbook and/or page 32 of the Racine Unified School District – Code of Student Responsibilities and Rights. Please address any questions/concerns to your child’s Sub-School Principal. STUDENT PARKING Students must park in designated parking areas only. All students must obtain a parking permit to park in the school assigned lot and in the church parking lot across Rapids Drive. Do not park in the Pic n’ Save parking lot or the parking lot near Flex Fitness Center or you will be ticketed. Please direct any questions in reference to parking and parking fees to Gray School - 262-619-4308.
