Jammie Penm, Chief Commodity Analyst and Assistant Secretary, Agricultural Commodities and Trade Branch (ABARES) His professional expertise and achievements revolve around commodity analysis and economic research important to Australia’s primary industries. Jammie has a PhD in econometrics from the Australian National University and a Master’s Degree in economics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Before joining ABARES, Jammie worked at the Australian National University, the former Industries Assistance Commission and the State University of New York at Stony Brook in the United States.

Theo Simos, Consultant, Food & Beverages, Agribusiness Theo Sims is located in Adelaide, South Australia and supports a range of clients from the public and private sectors. He has a diverse skill and experience portfolio in international market development, value chain diagnostics and research for livelihood development in food and agriculture production chains. He is a specialist in market strategy development, project management and in identifying product and operational performance improvements in organisations.

Randeep Agarwal, President Australia India Business Council Qld Based in Brisbane, he works with Origin Energy/APLNG in a principal engineering position. Randeep has worked in energy industry most of his career (e.g., LNG/natural gas and coal seam gas). Starting with Woodside Energy in Western Australia, he then moved to Shell Global Solutions in The Hague, the Netherlands on secondment from 2001 to 2004. During the secondment, he worked in a global consulting role and travelled extensively through Europe, South East Asia, Japan, Canada and America. He also serves on the executive committee of the Australian Institute of Energy.

His Excellency Mr Nadjib Riphat Kesoema, Ambassador of the Republic of to Australia in Canberra Mr Nadjib has previously held a number of diplomatic posts in various countries including Vanuatu, the , Kingdom of , , , and . He has also held several senior positions in ministries of the Indonesian Government. He is an awardee of a number of medals and awards. Ambassador Riphat has recently visited North Queensland, keen to promote stronger relations between business communities in North Queensland and Indonesia.

Andrew Booth, Director Asia Pacific Desk, Corporate & Commercial Banking Andrew’s role is assisting ANZ’s clients to connect into the Asia Pacific Region and congruently regional clients inbound into Australia. His role specialises in structuring cross border deals from a legal and risk framework as well as assisting corporate and commercial bankers illustrate and promote ANZ’s super-regional strategy to current and future clients and network.
