Summer Reading Programme – Year 6 To introduce you to our Drop Everything And Read (DEAR) reading programme, we would encourage you to participate in our Summer Reading Programme. For each task, aim to do a minimum of 30 minutes reading each day, more if you can, so that you can finish 1 book every 2 weeks. Weeks Choose 1 book from the 1 and 2 reading list. Read the pdf copy.

Weeks 3 Choose a new book and and 4 listen to the audio recording. Follow the text as you listen. Weeks 5 Choose book number 3. Try reading some chapters aloud. and 6 Read the pdf copy. Can you try recording yourself reading some of the text? Listen back to your reading, following the text whilst you listen.
