Detailed Itinerary: The trip departs Florence from the Santa Maria Novella train station. The meeting point is Reale Firenze, to the right outside the S.M.N Train station. Please meet your trip leader 20 minutes prior to departure. Travel to Cinque Terre is by private, luxury coach bus with A/C and DVD. The trip arrives to Cinque Terre at the La Spezia train station. From here you have access to the entire Cinque Terre National Park. In the National Park you will have the choice to enjoy the many hiking trails that join these famous ‘5 Lands’ or you may choose to just take it easy and relax on the beach. You have the choice to stay with the group and follow our guides who will take you to the highlights of Cinque Terre, or you can choose to break off from the group and explore on your own. If you choose to follow the group, we will leave from La Spezia, where we will take the local train that services the park and arrive in the second town of Manarola. Here, you can enjoy beautiful views of the crystal clear water and colorful stacked houses. From Manarola, we will hop on the train to the fourth town, Vernazza, where you can eat lunch and relax by the port. You can then either take the train directly to the beach town of Monterosso al Mare where you can hang out on the beach, walk around and shop, chill near the country themed bar or you can hike with beautiful panoramic views of the Ligurian sea before finishing on the beach for an afternoon of sunbathing! If you purchased the beach only ticket you will depart from La Spezia train station and head directly to Monterosso al Mare. You'll have the entire day to enjoy the 5th town in Cinque Terre eating the food and soaking up the sun. Must do's in Cinque Terre: Try pesto focaccia, fresh seafood, and relax on the beach! At the end of the day, we will meet back at the La Spezia train station for departure to Florence at the designated time. We will then return by coach bus to Florence and arrive in the evening back to Santa Maria Novella.
