Welcome to the May issue of I2A Recycling News. Our first bit of news is

very exciting. We’re delighted to say that we’re a finalist in the

MRW National Recycling Awards 2016 in the Prevention of Waste Award:

Public and Third category. Winners in each category will be chosen after

presentations are made to the judges in May and announced on the 6

July.

Make May "Mobile Phone Month"!

If you have unwanted mobile phones and would like to donate them, pop them into an envelope marked ‘phones’ then take them to any Library during May and drop them into their self-service machine box (see photo above).

In June the phones will be divided between: AOK Rucksack Appeal, Age UK , Branksome Children’s Centre, Diverse Abilities, Blind Association, Forest Holme Hospice, Pound Puppy Animal Rescue and Ted Webster Children’s Centre.

Do you have any unwanted keys lying around your home or workplace? If so, you could be helping local charity Routes to Roots who work with homeless people in Poole. Please take you keys to the office of Carter Shaw, 446 Ashley Road, , Poole BH14 0AD. They will sell the keys and donate the money to Routes to Roots.
