Warner Leisure Hotels Invest Millions Submitted By: Pr-Sending-Enterprises Thursday, 23 April 2009 Warner Leisure Hotels invest millions Submitted by: pr-sending-enterprises Thursday, 23 April 2009 Warner Leisure Hotels has announced that this year will see a multi-million pound investment in its ongoing effort to improve all of its 13 properties across England and Wales. Over the next two years, Warner Leisure Hotels (http://www.warnerleisurehotels.co.uk/) has plans to invest £5 million in a massive re-design of its Historic and Signature rooms across its property portfolio. Spearheaded by top UK interior designers Sophie Robinson and Pauline McCormic, 2009 will see a £2 million spend towards room redesign creating a new standard of luxury at Warner. Nidd Hall Hotel, nestled by Harrogate and the Yorkshire Dales, is seeing one of the largest investments out of all the Warner Leisure Hotel properties for 2009. £1 million will be invested towards 51 room refurbishments as well as a full re-design of the on-site Rawson Restaurant. Warner has also upgraded its dining options for guests at Thoresby Hall who can now enjoy Italian fine dining at its best. Fenocchi's, located in the original wine cellars of the House, features authentic Italian fare from the Tuscan mountains. Guests now have a choice of three restaurants, including The Pierrepont, the stunning main restaurant featuring a glass roof and stone walls, and The Blue Room, specialising in modern British cuisine. This year, guests won't have to travel far to enjoy the perfect beach short break (http://www.warnerleisurehotels.co.uk/short-breaks/short-break-offer.aspx). Inspired by the resort's coastal location, Corton Coastal Resort (http://www.warnerleisurehotels.co.uk/coastal-resorts/corton-coastal-resort/overview/) now boasts a fabulous Beach Garden where guests can mingle, learn to paint, or practice tai chi - all year round. Designed by Sarah Eberle - 2007 Chelsea Garden Best in Show winner - this spectacular garden features seaside grasses and coastal flowers, shingles made of crushed shells, pebbles, sand and boulders, as well as ancient driftwood sculptures formed by centuries of erosion. All Warner UK Breaks (http://www.warnerleisurehotels.co.uk/short-breaks/uk-break.aspx) include full English or Continental breakfasts, 3 course evening meals, comfortable en-suite accommodation and a range of daytime and evening leisure activities and entertainment. Guests can also choose from over 700 Warner Leisure Experiences to take part in whilst on their break. But why browse hundreds of holiday options when you can cut straight to the Warner 14? Full refunds and free changes on all bookings in 2021 Warner’s Coronavirus Guarantee is free on every break in 2021. Across our private estates, bands are tuning up, chefs are pioneering new menus and the shows are dress rehearsed. And there’ll be no denying the decadence of dressing up for dinner and cocktails at any o’clock. This is the Twenties after all. And like the 1920s after the Spanish flu, it’ll feel so freeing to come back to wonderful views, delicious food and the best live music and acts in the country, all under the one roof. Who’s ready to get things roaring? A very British story Warner has been offering holidays for almost 90 years with historic mansions and coastal boltholes handpicked for their peaceful grounds and settings. A trusted brand with a signature warm-hearted welcome, we’re once more ready to get back to our roots and celebrate the very best of the land.

Warner Leisure Hotels crown first official Strictly Come Dancing break winners Submitted by: pr-sending-enterprises Monday, 15 March 2010 Warner Leisure Hotels has announced that a couple from Abingdon has been crowned the winners of its first official Strictly Come Dancing holiday breaks. Amanda McCabe and Julian Siret were presented with an engraved glass glitter ball trophy by stars of the BBC TV show Darren Bennett and Lilia Kopylova after winning the final of the event held at the Warner Leisure Hotels' Cricket St Thomas hotel in Somerset. The couple, who began dancing only three years ago, won over the audience of more than 400 guests by performing an "absolutely superb" waltz to the song "To You I'm Born Again". Referring to the difference in height between 6ft 3ins Julian and Amanda, 5ft 2ins, Darren praised the couple for "going out there and moving beautifully". He added: "It is really refreshing to see some real quality dancing, and great movement." Fellow judge Ryan McShane, who provided dance instruction during the three-night UK Breaks (http://www.warnerleisurehotels.co.uk/short-breaks/uk-break.aspx) at the Cricket St Thomas hotel near Chard, said: "That was absolutely superb. This couple have a height difference but I just think you moved so well together." Lilia, also a judge, commended the couple for their "great achievement" and "very neat" footwork. The victory, in which they beat eight other couples in a vote by the audience, was all the more remarkable after their first entry in a competition two years ago ended in calamity.

Having just celebrated our 75th birthday, our research comes as we prepare to launch the most ambitious hotel in Butlins history – Wave Hotel & Apartments at Bognor Regis. To celebrate this we wanted to take our insight to a new level and understand what family life could be like when we reach our 100th birthday. This report isn’t about hovering hotel rooms and robot-run resorts. When it comes to holidaying in Britain, our research highlights that intergenerational re-connection breaks, offering the chance to create sparkling memories, will become increasingly fundamental to family life by 2037. Our own Butlins insight team worked with Trajectory, UK trend forecasters, to assess the changing shape and needs of families in 25 years time and identify emerging lifestyle trends which will impact on how we holiday in the future. This is underpinned by quantitative research amongst young people, parents and grandparents on their hopes and aspirations for family time in the future. To add to this, we’ve also asked young future-gazers to tell us what they want from their hotel of the future.
