On the top we will have the legendary Motörhead, hard rock British band lead by the mighty Lemmy Kilmister, who did not come to Spain since 2011 and will perform their unique show in 2015 in the whole Spain, a unique and unrepeatable occasion to see the band. Late 1960's - Early 1970's The birth of heavy metal. Groups like Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple were the first heavy metal bands. Late 1970's The rise of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. Bands like Iron Maiden and Judas Priest become very popular. 1978 Van Halen released their debut album. This began the Los Angeles/Sunset Strip scene, and many bands would come out of this era, including Motley Crue and Quiet Riot. The so called "hair bands" like Poison, Warrant and Ratt came from that scene as well. The Who's Keith Moon died. Bands formed this year: Dokken, Ratt, Whitesnake A sample of heavy metal albums released in 1978: Black Sabbath - Never Say Die Judas Priest - Stained Class UFO - Obsession 1979 The German band Accept releases their self-titled debut album. They are considered to be the first European power metal band. Ozzy Osbourne was fired from Black Sabbath and replaced by Ronnie James Dio. EWAN DOBSON Ewan Dobson has established himself as one of Canada’s accomplished guitarists, having won first prize in many guitar competitions across the country. His impressive list of credentials include winning the Grand Prizes from both the Burlington Rotary Fall Music Festival and the Pickering Rotary Music Festival where he emerged victorious, after having competed against the top prize winners of all of the other disciplines. In addition to dominating the provincial competition circuit, Dobson has made his mark nationally having represented Ontario twice at the National Finals of the prestigious Canadian Music Competitions (CMC) and having been awarded the top prize in guitar. In the summer of 2009, Dobson was crowned the Canadian Fingerstyle Guitar Champion at the prestigious 5th annual Canadian Fingerstyle Guitar Competition held in Kingston, Ontario. Shortly after this victory, he captured another first prize in the acoustic category at the 4th Montreal Guitar Grand Prix. However, the highlight of this season took place when he caught the attention of the world by capturing 3rd place at the 38th International Fingerstyle Guitar Championship held in Winfield, Kansas. In addition to his hectic competition history, Dobson has performed at many prestigious venues across Ontario including Hammerson Hall in Mississauga’s Living Arts Centre, the George Weston Recital Hall in the Toronto Centre for the Performing Arts and his recital debut in the Royal Bank Theatre of the Living Arts Centre under the auspices of the Chamber Music Society of Mississauga to name but a few. A versatile artist, he has been featured on many television programs on Rogers and CityTV and was in the top 10 on CKXU 88.3 FM Lethbridge, AB.

Estefanía Tarrío Maneiro Directora: María del Carmen Rodríguez Rodríguez 1 RESUMO A presente investigación ten como obxectivo principal analizar a relación entre a transformación cultural do Resurrection Fest e a construción de identidade do público asistente. Dada a carencia de referencias bibliográficas específicas en torno á temática, foi precisa a realización dunha fundamentación teórica consistente, converténdose esta nun sostén da investigación. Posteriormente, foi empregada unha metodoloxía cualitativa, sendo combinadas diversas técnicas de recollida, así como de análise da información: análise de contido, observación participante, entrevistas en profundidade, análise de sistemas de discursos e, por último, análise DAFO. Así pois, preténdese comprender como as transformacións culturais acontecidas no festival afectan ás percepcións subxectivas dos asistentes e como ditas metamorfoses puideron repercutir na configuración do seu sentimento identitario. Palabras clave: Resurrection Fest, festivais de música, hardcore. RESUMEN La presente investigación tiene como objetivo principal analizar la relación entre la transformación cultural del Resurrection Fest y la construcción de identidad del público asistente.
