This event is usually a huge success. It will be held Saturday, Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the New Recreation Complex, 1400 Wellington Street East, in the main lobby. All proceeds will be donated to the York Region Children's Aid Society "Holiday Gift Program". Anyone wishing to make a donation should call 905-726-4740. Meanwhile, this weekend This Friday and Saturday, Oct. 19 and 20, Aurora United Church will hold its annual Fall Rummage sale. There’s plenty there to see and buy, including gently used clothing for the winter, household articles, books, and a selection of Hallowe’en costumes. All proceeds go directly back into the community as outreach to Women and Men shelters as well as the Welcoming Arms Program. On Friday, the event runs from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, the sale is on from 9 a.m. to noon.
