We contributed $1.27 million in funding to support research, through a renovated lab for the Centre for Heart Lung Innovation $1.27M at St. Paul’s, to create more personalized medical treatments Raised for patients by examining the link between our genes, the environment and diseases of the heart, lung and blood vessels.

Our 2014 Brilliant! fundraiser raised $300,000 for the Mental Health Program at St. Paul’s, with the support of 200 local $300K models, dancers, hairstylists, makeup artists, musicians and Raised designers who volunteered their time to stage a spectacular and sold out show.

Our 2014 Strike Out Heart Disease campaign saw $100,000 go towards the purchase of a new excimer laser for specialized $100K heart procedures for patients with pacemakers and other Raised implanted devices.

These donations helped make possible the renovations and enhancements that benefit patients and their loved ones, as well as physicians, researchers and staff working on Renal 6A. “Frank and Marilyn have been extremely generous in enabling the cardiac and renal programs to thrive,” notes Dr. Ron Carere, cardiologist and Vice President, Medical Affairs at St. Paul’s. “They have been willing to take risks to let others do great work, and I admire them for that.” ST.
