The Bill Bensley Trail 16 February – 1 March, 2020 TERMS AND CONDITIONS The acceptance of your Booking Form and deposit by Remote Lands, Inc. (Tour Operator) creates a contractual relationship between the Tour Operator and the passenger/participant (Client), in the group journey provided by the Tour Operator. After reading the terms and conditions, the Client must indicate acceptance of the Terms and Conditions by signing and submitting the Booking Form, along with the deposit to the Tour Operator. Tour Price: USD $37,888 per person, based on double occupancy. The single supplement cost is USD $20,999. All prices are based on two persons sharing a room. For those desiring a single room, a single supplement has been provided and is subject to space available. All prices and fares are quoted in U.S. dollars. The rates are based on current tariffs and are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. While the Tour Operator will make reasonable efforts to maintain the listed prices, Tour Operator reserves the rights to levy a surcharge if it is necessary and will notify the Client at the time of final invoicing. Inclusions: • Primary transportation via commercial flights. • All taxes, resort accommodation, group shared and private transportation as indicated in the itinerary, airport transfers at the beginning and end of the itinerary, excursions and other group and private activities as detailed in the itinerary, beginning with arrival in Luang Prabang, Laos on February 16, 2020 through departure from Danang, Vietnam on March 1, 2020. • Breakfast daily and lunch and dinner as indicated in the itinerary • Complete tour activities, including extensive options at most destinations • Visas upon arrival in Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam. • Bottled water throughout the program (during sightseeing, at scheduled meals, and in your room) • All beverages, including house pour alcohol at special events and cocktail parties on land • Transfers and porterage throughout the trip. • Internet access in hotels, where available Rosewood Luang Prabang • Complimentary selected mini bar, replenished once daily • Complimentary high speed Wi-Fi in room and throughout the Hotel Bensley Collection - Shinta Mani Siem Reap • 60-min massage per person • Personal Bensley Butler • Unpacking on arrival and packing before departure • Welcome beverage and welcome amenities • Pocket wi-fi device guests can use with own phones during stay • Complimentary laundry service • Daily seasonal fruits Bensley Collection - Shinta Mani Wild • Personal Bensley Butler • Unpacking on arrival and packing before departure • Welcome beverage and welcome amenities • Pocket wi-fi device guests can use with own phones during stay • Complimentary laundry service • All meals and beverages • Unlimited Spa treatments • All private guided excursions and activities • Pop up sunset drinks in different locations Rosewood Bangkok • Fully stocked private bar with premium selections • Complimentary high speed Wi-Fi in room and throughout the Hotel • Complimentary 24-hour access to the Fitness Centre The Intercontinental Danang • 60-min massage per person Exclusions: • Transportation from clients’ home to the airport • International airfare between departure city and Luang Prabang, Laos and between Danang, Vietnam to your destination city • Travel, Medical and Emergency Evacuation Insurance • Passport fees • Visa arrangements and fees as required for your nationality if not mentioned as included • All items of a personal nature such as souvenirs, laundry, snacks, telephone charges • Any beverages not mentioned in the Inclusions on land and/or not specifically mentioned in the itinerary • Minibar charges • Meals listed as Optional on the itinerary • Any optional activities and private excursions outside of the itinerary • Medical costs and immunizations • Any tips or gratuities will be at your discretion Reservations and Payments: Reservations will be confirmed, based upon availability, upon receipt of the Booking Form and payment to the Tour Operator. A Confirmation Fee of USD $22,733 for a party of two is due upon confirmation to confirm seat/s. The confirmation fee can by paid by major credit card or by cheque made out to “Remote Lands, Inc.”or by wire transfer. Please fax the form to +1.877.848.2026 or scan and email to [email protected]. The balance payment of USD $53,043 (plus any room upgrades) for a party of two is due by November 16, 2019. Cancellation & Refunds: Any cancellations and requests for a trip refund must be sent to Remote Lands in writing via email or mail. Cancellations will become effective as of the date of the postmark or email receipt. Cancellation on or before August 16, 2018: 30% of total deposit paid is non-refundable Cancellation between August 16, 2018 – November 16, 2019: 50% of total deposit paid is non-refundable After November 16, 2019: No Refund No refund will be provided for early departure and any non-usage of any portion of the itinerary or any service indicated within the itinerary, including any unused sightseeing, accommodation, transportation, meals or any other services included in the journey. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance including trip cancellation insurance protection. The Tour Operator reserves the right to cancel the journey due to inadequate enrollment that makes the trip economically infeasible to operate. If Tour Operator cancels the trip prior to departure, you will receive a full refund of amounts paid. Please note that costs for visas, and pre- or post-tour independent arrangements may not be refundable. Insurance: Client is responsible for travel insurance, including trip cancellation, health and accident insurance coverage and medical evacuation. The Tour Operator can provide recommendations for international trip insurers. Commercial Flights: The Tour Operator reserves the right to change flight times and local approved airline carriers if necessary. Seating arrangements on these aircrafts will be based upon availability. Baggage: Baggage allowance is in accordance to each individual airline carrier. No responsibility is incurred for loss of, or damage to client’s baggage and/or personal property by Tour Operator. Meals: Meals will be provided as per the itinerary. B- Breakfast, L – Lunch, D – Dinner. Where a meal is listed as “O” – the meal is not included and may be taken at leisure either in a resort restaurant or outside of the property. Visa Documents: Entry visas are required for Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam on the trip itinerary. Tour Operator will obtain visas-on-arrival for these countries according to individual nationality requirements. All other visas required according to individual nationality requirements is the responsibility of the Client to obtain in advance of the journey. Failure to obtain visas and/or entry permits does not negate the terms and conditions. Any extra costs for rerouting Clients without visas and/or entry permits will be the responsibility of the Client. Single Accommodations & Room Upgrades: A limited number of single rooms are available at a single supplement charge on a first-come, first-serve basis. Higher room categories are available at several resorts – supplement fees are listed on the Booking Form and are subject to availability at the time of reservation. International Airfare: Please inform Tour Operator if you require assistance in arranging commercial/private international flights between your departure city and Luang Prabang, Laos/Danang, Vietnam. Pre- and Post-Tour Arrangements: The Tour Operator is able to assist the Client/s with private pre- and/or post-Tour arrangements. Please notify if additional touring and/or hotel accommodations are desired. Itinerary Changes: Every reasonable effort will be made to maintain the tour itinerary as planned, however, the Tour Operator reserves the right to modify or change the itinerary in the best interests and the safety of the group, in the Tour Operator’s sole discretion. Health and Wellness Requirements: This is an active program, which requires walking and climbing stairs. As such, the Client is requested to make a realistic assessment of personal health and fitness. All Participants are expected to be in active good health, to enjoy traveling as part of a group, and to be ready to experience and accept cultural differences. Prior to traveling, it is recommended that the Client visits a personal physician for a check-up and to discuss any medical requirements/recommendations for the journey. For up to date recommendations on specific health precautions for the areas you will visit, consult your physician and the Centers for Disease Control. Any physical condition requiring special attention, diet, or treatment should be reported in writing upon reservation. Release of Liability and Acknowledgment of Risk: The Client/s understand(s) that the private jet trip includes travel to remote countries and areas in Asia that are inherently risky. The Client assumes the risks associated with this trip including: forces of nature; weather; terrorism; civil unrest; war; strikes; local laws; accidents; itinerary changes or modifications; and all transportation including land vehicles, boats and aircraft that are not necessarily operated or maintained to standards found in North America. The Client/s assume(s) all risks associated with altitude, illness, physical injuries sustained, disease, alcohol consumption, physical exertion and sporting activities, knowing that access to evacuation and/or suitable medical supplies
