A special token of appreciation was presented by Co-Chairman, Gasman to Speedy and Nerin for their immense contributions in making the event a success.

It was certainly a memorable and fun filled evening ending with loads of laughter, great fellowship and dancing that continued until the wee hours.

The journey to Port Dickson on Saturday, December 3rd was long and tiring due to heavy traffic; but we managed to reach RPDYC on time. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by old friends and tea, served with scrumptious curry puffs and sandwiches.

RESOLUTIONS PASSED AT THE EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING ON 18TH DECEMBER 2016

RESOLUTION 1 A motion proposing for the extension of the tenure of every President from one year ( as per current Rule under Article 24.6 of the Constitutional Rules of the Club) to two years. Decision: Motion was carried.

RESOLUTION 2 Motion proposing to open invitations to companies on a profit sharing basis, for the service of operating, supplying and maintaining the slot machines. Decision: A special committee to be formed to produce a comprehensive report which is to be presented to the members at a AGM for discussion and approval.

RESOLUTION 3 Dr. Ranjit Singh Mahli (Vice President) and Mr. Kalwant Singh (GC Member) to be removed from office on a vote of no-confidence. Decision: Motion was carried.

RESOLUTION 4 Proposal to do away with the requirement to audit the sections by the External Auditors thus resulting in total cost savings amounting to some RM 21,400 per annum by the sections. It was proposed for the Club’s Internal Auditors to audit the section accounts. Decision: Motion was carried.
