Tuesday, Aug. 7 Mutton Bustin’ at 2 p.m. and Bull Riding at 7 p.m. (Mutton Bustin’ finals occur during the 7 p.m. event) Buckle-up for some rodeo action as bull riding takes center stage inside the ERS Grandstand! See some of the top riders in the Northwest compete. Plus, the kids won’t be outdone with Mutton Bustin! Wednesday, Aug. 8 Freestyle Motocross – Watch the big air happen at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Great ready for some of the biggest motocross shows ever at the Clark County Fair! See the stunt team throw down some of the wildest tricks imaginable, including backflips, whips, superman seat grabs and more!

Thursday, Aug. 9 Demolition Derby – Catch the smashing and crashing at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Always a crowd favorite, WGAS Motorsports Entertainment is creating a card with amazing cars, drivers and even motorhome demo derby! Expect a messy day filled with mayhem and amazing crashing!

Friday, Aug. 10 & Saturday, Aug 11 Tuff Trucks – See some wild rides at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tuff Truck Racing is always a crowd favorite. Tuff Trucks is when trucks (or SUVs) race one at a time over a track of bumps and jumps (and even a mud pit), and the fastest time around the course wins! This is always an action-packed event filled with highflying thrills and spectacular spills!

Sunday, Aug. 12 Trucks – Will pound the ground at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. WGAS Motorsports Entertainment will be bringing back another huge line of up Monster Trucks for the Clark County Fair. See these trucks: Wild Flower, Playing 4 Keeps, Time Fly’s, Enforcer, T Max, Maniac and the Wolf Pack Trucks - Alfa Dog, Omega and Beta!

Brad’s World Reptiles returns to the Clark County Fair! Their passion for education and the natural world comes alive in an all-new exhibit at the Fair. They have made it their goal to provide the opportunity for others to learn about, view some of the most beautiful animals on our planet. See unique and mysterious, reptiles, amphibians, and other fabulous animals that raise both hairs and curiosities. It is through Brad’s interest and devotion that brings exhibits and programs that offer an unusual and memorable educational experience by making it a fun, entertaining and an interactive adventure! Witness the amazing Sandscapes! Watch as an enormous sandcastle and other whimsical creations are built right before your eyes! These masters of the sand, will be building during the run of the fair, so be sure to come back over and over to see their progress! This exhibit is sponsored by Les Schwab!

Cowboy Boot Camp is a completely self-contained Wild West Town! This area is dressed up like a small town, with hands-on activity stations galore for kids! Once inside you can pan for gold, milk a cow, try out a game of horseshoes, learn to lasso and even make a scarecrow and so much more. Want to up like a cowboy or cowgirl? We’ve got you covered! Plus, there will be face painting, crafts and even a cowboy campout. Get over to this exciting feature and whoop it up!

DockDogs makes a splash! DockDogs® The World’s Premier Canine Aquatics Competition is set to return to the Clark County Fair! If you’ve never seen a “Big Air” competition this is your chance to see one of the most popular pooch/human sports in the world today. Best of all, anyone can enter! To register, go to www.DockDogs.com. This SW Washington-sanctioned event is part of the National Sportsmen’s Series. DockDogs was established in 2000 to promote a nationally recognized competitive aquatic-based sport with the rules of track-and-field long jump … but for dogs. The Clark County Fair has been chosen to host a qualifier for DockDogs again this year and dozens are expected to enter. Here’s how it works: You must register your dog through www.DockDogs.com, and pay the entrance fee. There are three events you can enter: Big Air, Extreme Vertical and Retrieve. Each registered dog is assigned a time slot on a specific day, and you must enter through the BLUE GATE only at the Clark County Fair. At competition time, the dog must run down a 40-foot long dock and leap (long jump) into the pool or compete in the Vertical or Retrieve events. The judges measure the distance or height and the top finishers receive prizes, a national ranking and even a possible invitation to the DockDogs National Championship Series! DockDogs is sponsored by KGW.

The United States Army is coming to the Fair! The Army will have a semi-trailer with amazing interactive experiences on board, like a virtual reality parachute and helicopter simulator! And, they also will have a spin- the-wheel game for kids of all ages and a pull-up bar challenge and push up contest for the older kids. Of course the Army will be handing out lots of fun prizes and giveaways, like t-shirts, lanyards, water bottles and more!

STROLLING ENTERTAINMENT AND MORE FEATURES TO SEE The Clark County Fair is known for its fun midway, strolling acts and crazy antics and fun features and this year will be no different! Back for their second year, Washington State Fiddle Championships being held at the Fair! See the best of the best in the fine art of fiddle playing this Saturday, Aug. 4, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m and 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 5, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Jerry Harris Master Hypnotist will be on Columbian Community Stage nightly getting you to dance like a chicken, fall asleep at will, and act silly in front of hundreds! See Penelope the Clown as she delights children with a combination of juggling, magic, and audience participation. Children and adults alike will laugh along with her as she leads the crowd in interactive performances.

Witness Eric Haines, the One-Man Band! Eric creates a classic one-man band experience with bass drum, banjo, bells and whistles everywhere. Just listen for Eric – you’ll find him along the midway! And meet Paul Isaak – Master Juggler! From the moment that Paul steps on to the stage get ready for a rollercoaster of juggling zaniness! See him juggle flaming torches, machetes, and just about anything he can find!

See Adam the Great (our resident magician and comedian) as he thrills and amazes from stage and midway daily! Don’t miss Jest In Time performing their sensational juggling, unicycle and stilt-walking performances throughout the day, plus visit the Family Fun Stage inside the Kid’s Park!

You’ll also see everyone’s favorite strolling ensemble, The Harbor Patrol Jazz Band! These gentlemen have been an enduring entertainment fixture at the Fair for the past 24 years. You can hear the Harbor Patrol Jazz Band performing daily!

MAIN HALL MARKETPLACE The Clark County Exhibition Hall Marketplace, sponsored by Mattress Firm will be open, air-conditioned and filled with great exhibits, vendors, and bargains galore and shopping for the whole family to enjoy. Each year, dozens and dozens of retailers and organizations participate in this fantastic marketplace, plus see the 150th Anniversary Quilting Contest too!

ROYALTY REIGNS FOR 2018 Our 2018 Riverview Community Bank Clark County Equestrian Fair Court will be on-site during the run of the Clark County Fair. Be sure to say hello to our official ambassadors and get a picture! Also, on Sunday, Aug. 12, we name our 2019 court. If you’ve ever been interested in this process, be sure to come by and watch!

Queen Taylre attends Battle Ground High School and is the 16 year old daughter of Kirsten and Vince Byford of Amboy. Taylre highly values her education and gives her greatest efforts toward learning. She has maintained a 3.5 GPA through her high school years. Taylre is a member of the Clark County Saddle Club, 4-H, the Battle Ground High School Equestrian Team and the American Quarter Horse Association. She participates in Future Farmers of America, Washington High School Equestrian Team, livestock shows and Youth Efforts Against Hunger. In the future Taylre plans to attend a four-year university to study veterinary medicine, specializing in large animals. She will be riding Spy On Kola, her 11-year-old Quarter Horse.

Princess Korrie from Camas is the 17-year-old daughter of Dave and Cheryl MacIntyre. Korrie attends Camas High School where she is the President of the Camas High School Sports Medicine Club. She also was a participant in the Washington Career and Technical Sports Medicine Association Competition. Korrie is a member and team captain of the Camas High Schools’ Equestrian Team, a member of the American Paint Horse Association and a 4-H member. Besides riding horses, Korrie enjoys skiing, hiking, and volunteering. Korrie plans to attend a four year university to complete a pre-physical therapy program before moving on to a doctorate in Physical Therapy. Korrie will be riding her 10-year-old Paint, CPR Mr. Shameful.

Princess Hallye is the 16-year-old daughter of Vince and Kirsten Byford of Amboy. Hallye attends Battle Ground High School where she has been on the Academic Honor Roll, and CASEE an agricultural STEM school. Hallye is involved with the Battle Ground High School Equestrian Team, and is a member of 4H, Clark County Saddle Club and the American Paint Horse Association. In her spare time, Hallye enjoys hiking, and being outdoors. She loves all her animals and putting her time into them to get them ready for what she is doing. Hallye plans to attend a four-year university and pursue a degree in the medical field. She will be riding TOF Gothic Knight, a 14-year-old Paint.

FUN AT THE BEE BARN! Be sure to stop by the Bee Barn to learn about our important pollinators and makers of honey. You can also meet the 2018 American Honey Queen, Kayla Fusselman. Kayla is the daughter of Brian and Diane Fusselman of Kempton, PA. She is a graduate of Kutztown University, where she earned bachelor’s degree in art education. Kayla serves as the spokesperson on behalf of the American Beekeeping Federation.

FUN IN THE COUNTRY What’s a County Fair without hundreds of animals, blue ribbons and apple pies? For many, the real reason to visit the Clark County Fair is to see all kinds of great projects produced by local kids. • Head, Heart, Hands and Health are the four H's in 4-H, and they are the four values on display during the run of the Clark County Fair through fun and engaging programs and activities. Look for science displays, breeding programs, kitchen activities, animal judging contests and plenty of great activities. • The National FFA Organization shows their stuff with a variety of animal programs and projects.

TAKE A RIDE, GET A RIDE! Visit the Clark County Fair Carnival produced by Butler Amusements! As always, there will be dozens of exhilarating rides throughout the fairgrounds and, of course, no trip to the Fair is complete without a ride on the Giant . Go to www.clarkcofair.com for a complete listing of rides and ride requirements. New Rides at the Carnival for 2018: Monkey Maze Funhouse: Kids will delight in this jungle themed funhouse. It is full of tricks and thrills to keep them coming back to navigate the maze of mirrors, air tricks and spiral slide. The world-class will be at the Fair! This 90 foot tower takes 12 people to the top and is released in an accelerated free-fall where riders experience G-Forces in excess of 3½ times normal!

Cheeseburger Eating Contest – Ready, set and go! The first team of four that eats 10 cheeseburgers is the winner!

Pie Eating Contest — The object of this contest is to eat a single pie as fast as possible without using your hands. The contestant who finishes their pie first, within the allotted time, will be the winner.
