Hardware LDN Collaborates with SKECHERS USA to Launch SS 19 Collection

Designer Jessica Horewell implements bold prints and unconventionalism into her NYFW show

Since Jessica Horewell started Hardware LDN in 2012, her brand has garnered attention from the media world at large. Publications like Vogue Germany, Complex, Vogue, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, and more have featured the edgy streetwear-inspired clothing company to target their millennial audience. Horewell is not new to the fashion scene. She began her career styling famous celebrities like and Black Eyed Peas, and eventually turned her talents into designing clothing that make women feel confident. “Hardware clothing is heavily embellished as I started making jewelry from a Hardware store, this has developed into statement trims which you will see consecutively throughout the collection,” the stylist turned designer says.

High-profile celebrities like Kourtney Kardashian, Sofia Richie, , , , , Wu Tang, and Mac Miller have stepped out wearing Horewell’s designs. From the brand’s signature Victorian-styled velvet top to tight leopard pants, the chicest models and badass babes are donning these effortless looks.

Even though the London born designer has ventured across the globe to live in LA, she uses the best of both worlds to source inspiration for her new collection, “Finding Peace in Chaos.” The black, red, and leopard prints represent the feeling of being young, free, and wild at heart. “It gives a sense of alarm,” Horewell notes. The offbeat pieces exude a carefree attitude, which is why the designer uses equality, unity, and respect as the foundational principles for her clothing line. The unconventional experience gleaned from Hardware LDN’s collection is enhanced by the scaffolding at the presentation which “represents the chaotic infrastructure we currently live. Contouring the collection through an industrial framework, the rebellious leaders are joined in unity to break the mind.”

Additionally, Hardware LDN has teamed up with SKECHERS USA, Inc. for their NYFW presentation this week.
