Designated in 1960 between Government and Zaragosa Streets, it was named after King Ferdinand VII of Spain (1813-1833). A penalty kick in the closing minutes of the match was the difference as Navarre edged Gulf Breeze 1-0 Saturday at Dolphin Stadium. Josh Goldstein made several saves in the first half, while Max McDaniel and Alex Meade each set up good scoring chances for the other in the first 40 minutes, but neither found the back of the net.

Dolphins 2, West Florida 1 McDaniel scored off a feed from Josh Ceravolo with three minutes left as the Dolphins edged West Florida in a District 1-4A matchup Thursday. McDaniel, who has 15 goals on the season, set up Halston Michaud’s goal with 10 minutes left in the first half.
