Kroll Miami Dade County - Mayor: Esteban “Steve” Bovo • RAISING FLORIDA’S MINIMUM WAGE • Ballot Summary: Raises minimum wage to $10.00 per hour effective September 30th, 2021. Each September 30th thereafter, minimum wage shall increase by $1.00 per hour until the minimum wage reaches $15.00 per hour on September 30th, 2026. From that point forward, future minimum wage increases shall revert to being adjusted annually for inflation starting September 30th, 2027. • Proponent: Florida For a Fair Wage – John Morgan of Morgan & Morgan • ABC Position: OPPOSE • Reasoning: ABC believes strongly in market-based principles and less government overreach. Our current market, even during a pandemic, remains healthy and many of our members are already offering above $15/hour starting salaries. Therefore, the market has done what it is meant to do. We do not need to amend our State Constitution with an arbitrary wage rate that may not be reflective of the current economy. • AMENDMENT 3: All Voters Vote in a Primary Elections for State Legislature, Governor Constitutional and Cabinet • Ballot Summary: Allows all registered voters to vote in primaries for state legislature, governor, and Amendments cabinet regardless of political party affiliation. All candidates for an office, including party nominated candidates, appear on the same primary ballot. Two highest vote getters advance to general election. If only two candidates qualify, no primary is held and winner is determined in general election. Candidate’s party affiliation may appear on ballot as provided by law. Effective January 1, 2024. • Proponent: All Voters Vote, Inc. • ABC Position: OPPOSE • Reasoning: this process would eliminate any roll of political parties. While at first glance, that may sound like a positive given the current state of politics, the actual impact of the process would be to allow money to buy seats. The two individuals with the most money behind them, no matter where it comes from, no matter their ideals or philosophies, will end up in a run-off. This scenario results in less transparency, predictability or accountability. • Other Opponents: Democratic Party of Florida, Republican Party of Florida, Florida Chamber of Commerce.

At the Center Vice-Chair for Birds of Prey, more than 200 raptor chicks crossed our threshold — and we Carol Colman Timmis released more than half back to the wild. As Audubon Florida’s newest Board Chair, I see the nesting season as a time to celebrate the resilience of birds, while looking Treasurer forward to how we can protect them into the migration season and beyond.     1 Verizon Political Activity January – June 2018 A Message from Craig Silliman Verizon is affected by a wide variety of government policies -- from telecommunications regulation to taxation to health care and more -- that have an enormous impact on the business climate in which we operate. We owe it to our shareowners, employees and customers to advocate public policies that will enable us to compete fairly and freely in the marketplace. Political contributions are one way we support the democratic electoral process and participate in the policy dialogue. Our employees have established political action committees at the federal level and in 18 states. These political action committees (PACs) allow employees to pool their resources to support candidates for office who generally support the public policies our employees advocate. This report lists all PAC contributions, corporate political contributions, support for ballot initiatives and independent expenditures made by Verizon and its affiliates during the first half of 2018. The contribution process is overseen by the Corporate Governance and Policy Committee of our Board of Directors, which receives a comprehensive report and briefing on these activities at least annually. We intend to update this voluntary disclosure twice a year and publish it on our corporate website. We believe this transparency with respect to our political spending is in keeping with our commitment to good corporate governance and a further sign of our responsiveness to the interests of our shareowners.     2021 Legislative Wrap-Up Prepared by The Southern Group and City of Lakeland June 18, 2021 I. Coronavirus Pandemic Position: Support increased funding to State and Local Governments to help offset costs associated with the Coronavirus Pandemic. Ensure distribution of funds to cities within counties that receive direct appropriation from the Treasury. Support flexibility for the continued use of virtual meeting platforms by local governments when conditions merit such action. Support the ability of local governments to enact, and enforce, measures to reduce the spread of Coronavirus, and future epidemics, such as the wearing of masks. Support HB 7 and SB 72 relating to liability protections for businesses, local governments, schools, nonprofit organizations and religious institutions. Final Action: SB 72, by Senator Jeff Brandes, provides liability protections to all persons, businesses, governments, religious institutions, schools and health care facilities that remained open during the COVID pandemic and made good faith efforts to follow guidelines to prevent the spread of coronavirus. The bill requires that a plaintiff must show that the defendant acted with gross negligence, the plaintiff must have a signed affidavit from a doctor stating that the injury or death was a result of the defendant’s actions, and cases must be brought within one year of a COVID-19-related problem. The bill is retroactive in nature. SB 72 passed the Senate 24-15 and the House 83-31 and was signed by the Governor on March 29th. The bill went into effect immediately. SB 2006, by Senator Danny Burgess, is a comprehensive bill that amends the State Emergency Management Act to address threats from future pandemics or public health emergencies and imposes restrictions on the scope, duration and impact of emergency orders.
