LLC, Opposition No.: 91244449 Opposer, Mark: MILLENNIAL FALCON Application No.: 87066540 v. Filed: June 9, 2016 ILAN MOSKOWITZ AKA CAPTAIN CONTINGENCY, Applicant. OPPOSER’S NOTICE OF RELIANCE NO. 4 UNDER 37 CFR § 2.122(e) Lucasfilm Entertainment Company Ltd. LLC, (“Opposer” or “Lucasfilm”) submits of record in connection with this opposition proceeding a representative sample of printed publications available to the general public online, as well as printed publications of general circulation among members of the public, under Paragraph 6 of the parties’ Stipulation for Accelerated Case Resolution (Dkt. 16), Trademark Rule 2.122(e)(2), and In re Cell Therapeutics, Inc., 67 USPQ2d 1795, 1798 (TTAB 2003). In addition, Lucasfilm also submits of record in connection with this opposition proceeding representative samples of Internet websites displaying the use of Lucasfilm’s MILLENNIUM FALCON Mark and/or spaceship for: (a) museum exhibitions at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC, and the Boston Museum of Science, (b) Christmas holiday window displays at Bloomingdale’s flagship location in New York City, and (c) promotional materials for Star Wars concerts. The big draw is the two seats of the cockpit that lets little pilots make the jump to hyperspace and pilot the Millennium Falcon through a variety of scenes from both outer space such as battle scenes with Imperial Star Destroyers and planets such as Tatooine. Women's Experimental Autobiography from Counterculture Comics to Transmedia Storytelling: Staging Encounters Across Time, Space, and Medium Dissertation Presented in partial fulfillment of the requirement for the Degree Doctor of Philosophy in the Graduate School of Ohio State University Alexandra Mary Jenkins, M.A. Graduate Program in English The Ohio State University 2014 Dissertation Committee: Jared Gardner, Advisor Sean O’Sullivan Robyn Warhol Copyright by Alexandra Mary Jenkins 2014 Abstract Feminist activism in the United States and Europe during the 1960s and 1970s harnessed radical social thought and used innovative expressive forms in order to disrupt the “grand perspective” espoused by men in every field (Adorno 206). Feminist student activists often put their own female bodies on display to disrupt the disembodied “objective” thinking that still seemed to dominate the academy. The philosopher Theodor Adorno responded to one such action, the “bared breasts incident,” carried out by his radical students in Germany in 1969, in an essay, “Marginalia to Theory and Praxis.” In that essay, he defends himself against the students’ claim that he proved his lack of relevance to contemporary students when he failed to respond to the spectacle of their liberated bodies. He acknowledged that the protest movements seemed to offer thoughtful people a way “out of their self-isolation,” but ultimately, to replace philosophy with bodily spectacle would mean to miss the “infinitely progressive aspect of the separation of theory and praxis” (259, 266). Lisa Yun Lee argues that this separation continues to animate contemporary feminist debates, and that it is worth returning to Adorno’s reasoning, if we wish to understand women’s particular modes of theoretical ii insight in conversation with “grand perspectives” on cultural theory in the twenty-first century.

That song from Pinocchio, 'When You Wish Upon a Star,' is the perfect summary of Walt's approach to life: dream big dreams, even hopelessly impossible dreams, because they really can come true. Sure, it takes work, focus and perseverance. But anything is possible. Walt proved it with the impossible things he accomplished."1 It is well documented that Walt Disney had big dreams and made several large gambles to propel his visions. From the creation of Steamboat Willie in 1928 to the first color feature film, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarves” in 1937, and the creation of Disneyland in Anaheim, CA during the 1950’s, Disney risked his personal assets as well as his studio to build a reality from his dreams. While Walt Disney passed away in the mid 1960’s, his quote, “If you can dream it, you can do it,”2 still resonates in the corporate world and operations of The Walt Disney Company.
