Slovenian Open Championship, named SLO Cheer Open 2013, is a competition of cheerleading and cheer dance teams, organized by Slovenian Cheerleading Association (CZS) and managed by Log Sport Club (ŠD Log). The competition is the largest event of that kind in the SE Europe or so called Adriatic region. This year’s novelty of the competition is that for the first time it’s going to be executed in two days. The qualifications in all age categories and all divisions will be, if necessary, executed on the first day of competition, in accordance with the CZS Competition Rulebook.
The competition is international and open – thus membership in CZS is not a condition for application. For CZS members the competition is as well a national championships as well as qualifying performance for ECU Championships (29÷30.06.2013, Glasgow, Scotland) and ICU Championships and IASF Worlds (April 2014, Orlando, ZDA).
We expect, that SLO Cheer Open 2013, which is the 9th consecutive Slovenian national championships organized by CZS, will host more than 1.000 athletes from Slovenia and abroad (Germany, Austria, Italia, Hungary, Croatia, …), which will be supported by more than 1.500 spectators and cheer fans.

The SLO Cheer Open 2013 competition will be held in Vrhnika on the 6th and 7th of April 2013 in the sports hall of Anton Martin Slomšek school (Pod Hruševco 33, 1360 Vrhnika).
The competition in cheer dance will be executed on the dance floor, and competition in cheerleading will be executed on the mats.

Age categories in the 2012/2013 competition season are determined by the year of birth as follows:

Registration for SLO Cheer Open 2013 is valid when completed registration form is submitted to the organizer and when the registration fee is paid.
Registration fee for SLO Cheer Open 2013 includes: Right to participate on the competition Payment free photos (team, action and award winning ceremony photos) produced by official photo team Trophies and medals for competition categories (from 1st to 3rd place) Memorable medals for competition categories (from 4th place and on) and for exhibition category
Registration fee for SLO Cheer Open 2013 depends on the registration date:

Registration fee for reserves is equal as for competitors. There’s no registration fee for registering coaches and assistants.

Trophies will be presented to teams in all team competition categories for places from 1st to 3rd. Medals will be presented to athletes and coaches in all competition categories for places from 1st to 3rd. Memorable medals will be presented to athletes and coaches in all competition categories for places from 4th on and in exhibition category. Each team will receive free photos (team, action and award winning ceremony photos) produced by professional photographers.

Any team, that does not feel ready yet to compete, but would like to perform their routine at the competition, can register in an exhibition category. There are no rules in this category and also no judging will take place. We strongly encourage you to perform cheerleading or cheer dance routine if you decide to participate in this category.
During SLO Cheer Open 2013 a special competition will be organized for all spectators and cheer fans – namely, the best organized cheer fan club will be awarded with a prize of 250 €. Entrance fee for spectators is 5 €/day and 7.5 €/two days.
