We are looking forward to today's interview, Wed June 24th between 1p-2p Central (2p-3p ET) on MSNBC with Katy Tur and Chuck Todd. Moving Katy to bee.
Appreciate the embargoed PDFs attached here. I had a great conversation with John yesterday, going over logistics. Would like to confirm this all remains accurate still: AG Keith Ellison presser is around 11:30a Central will run about 45 minutes, he will travel back to office for skype. I'll stay in touch with John, should the timing change at all. Generally Avail: 1245p Central - 2p Central If there are any additional updates/ press releases, information, etc - please do forward along our way. Andrea Lewis is cc'ed here, and producing the segment. If anyone from the office is available to do a practice skype/facetime ahead of the interview, that would be excellent, and preferred. Colleen is cc'ed here, and can coordinate that.
Topics include: the climate change lawsuit, follow up on George Floyd case and Police reform debate in Washington, DC.
Just wanted to confirm this is still his first national TV interview, following the press conference? And MSNBC w/ Katy & Chuck is exclusive interview?

Hi Katy - as promised, here is the draft complaint that is scheduled to be filed tomorrow. As discussed, it is Embargoed until 11:30 a.m. Central Daylight Time on June 24, 2020. I've also included a one-page overview of the complaint that identifies various sections of interest. AND, of course, we will get you the media advisory and the press release as soon as we have them (likely in the morning)
I've cc'd Nicole Pepperman - hi Nicole -whom I know has been in touch with Attorney General Ellison's Comms Director, John Stiles (also cc'd here).

Hi Katy- hope you're doing well in what feels like some kind of time warp. When John Lamson and I met with you in November, you invited us to let you know about significant upcoming filings that would be offered to you first. This is obviously confidential and embargoed. A major midwestern state will be filing a climate change accountability lawsuit on Wednesday (June 24). There are some unique "firsts" about this, in addition to it being the first such suit from a midwestern state. The Attorney General is tentatively slated to have a press conference late morning that day, and would be available after that if you are interested in the first national TV interview.
We know there are a few other high profile news items occupying your and others' time these days .... Let us know if you might be interested and, if so, we can provide more details over the phone at your convenience.
