I really liked this MA, it was fun and I have learned alot during PACKAGING this process. Before i started to do anyting I started to do some reasearch A cartoon logo fits more into a super market store, around and looked at other peoples logoes, brands and how while a more realistic drawed logo will give more a serious they advertised. look to it. Atleast I think so. I looked at Royal Canin, Eukanumba, friskies, Pro hills, and stumpled upon quite alot of american brands like Purina It was quite a process to figure out what dog to choose. Because I wanted to make a brand that was going to be a serious one, one that vetrinarians and serious pet stores So I started drawing up sketches for the different ones, the sketches you After this i went into illustrator to create the final piece. can see underneath: I have to admit that even before I drawed them into illustrator, I had already made up my mind. It was going to be the Old english bulldog, such a char- ming breed.

Here is both of them after a round in illustrator Here is the final logo

I made some changes to it after a while, but decided to stick to the normal ones, because i really liked them

The blue color i chose because i really wanted to use only one main color, to recognize the brand and to keep it simple, clean and serio- Week 2 we were going to make a brochure to tell people about our product. I decided to follow the logo I already made.. sticking to the logo as a design as I decided long before I even started working on anything and kept it simple.

I used pictures to make life to the brochure and to show off the pro- duct, and ofcourse I used pictures of the breed i used for the logo.

Here is the links for the pictures I used: http://nycdoggies.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/puppies.jpg http://cf.ltkcdn.net/dogs/images/std/149177-377x318-Bulldoggie-ea- ting-dinner.jpg https://www.pets4you.com/images/breeds/english-bulldog.jpg

I also made a diagram in illustrator of feeding and nutrition as you can see on the last page

Week 3 was to make the package for the food, again I wanted this simple and again I wanted to use the logo as the main design. I put a grayish shade to the box, but still light enough to seem cle- an.

I also made some paw prints which I faded into the box in photos- hop. Week 4 we were going to make advertisements to sell our produ- cts, so called: point of sale advertisements. POINT OF SALE Here I still wanted to keep the advertisements look healthy, I want my food to be shown as healthy, pure and good for your dog, and ADVERTISEMENTS ofcourse also benefitial and serious. That’s why I didn’t make a red all over advertisement, I used white as a background and wrote a short sentence to get people to think.

I also used clean pictures to make a healthy and clean appeal.
