Notification Whereas, the Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh has appointed the undersigned as the Election Authority to conduct the elections to the 6th Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, Leh, vide S.O.24 dated 14th of August 2020. Now, therefore, as the Election Authority for the Elections to the 6th LAHDC, Leh, 1, Sachin Kumar Vaishya, IAS, District Election Officer/Deputy Commissioner/District Magistrate, Leh, in pursuance of the powers vested in me under Rule 37 of the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Councils (Election) Rules, 1995, do hereby notify the persons, who are working as Doctors, Paramedicss and officials on cOVID-19 duty in COVID Hospitals & COVID Care Centers shall be considered to be employed in essential services for the purpose of that Rule.
