Many families have volunteered by Cecelia Babusci again to make their favorite cookies for this 6th annual Sunday event benefitting Joseph’s Coat. Last year, we sold every cookie and each year we sell more! Last year, the sale netted 8:30 a.m. Marge Gallagher by Peg Passero 10:15 a.m. Living & Deceased over $5,000.00 for Joseph’s Coat. Sign-ups for additional Members of the Parish bakers will be November 10/11 after all Masses. We are asking for six dozen homemade cookies of your 12:00 p.m. Rita Miller by the Miller Family choosing. Final painting is being completed and the facility is looking beautiful. Stained glass should be arriving the week of November 12th. The fire hydrant line is being installed, which will bring a quicker time frame to eliminate any fire issue that may occur on this Campus. Raya, Father Dave’s precious pup, will have this right outside the Rectory door. She is getting excited. Trees are being removed from the area where the fire hydrant line will be buried. Rest assured, though, Fr. Dave intends to have new trees planted once the construction projects are all finished! The current part of Phase I of our New Build continues with an anticipated completion date of December 1, 2018. We are currently taking reservations for our Family Social Hall. Rental contracts and approved Caterer list will be available to all interested after contracts are approved the week of November 5. The New Build will continue after the Family Social Hall is completed, moving on to the expansion of the Business Offices. This part of the New Build for the expansion of the Business Offices should be completed by April 1, 2019. We will be able to move forward with Phase II, the expansion of the Narthex of the Church, if we have received a total of $3,881,123 in pledges. We currently need $387,112 to complete Phase II. This would amount to $193.00 per registered family in our Parish. If we do not have these pledges by March 1, 2019, CONSTRUCTION WILL STOP! Please be generous with your continued pledges and gifts toward our Capital Campaign so we can expand the Narthex. We are so close! We have met 90% of our goal. The following we can anticipate with the Narthex expansion: Adoration Chapel, doubling the size of the open area to visit with friends, renovated Quieting Room, new Choir Room, new Bride’s Room, new bathrooms and much larger resource racks and Lending Library. Please take the time to respond to the mailing to all registered families next week. If you have pledged toward Phase I, Thank-you. If you have pledged toward Phase II, Thank-you again. If you have not pledged, please prayerfully consider a sacrificial pledge for Phase II. It is important to the success of our Capital Campaign that everyone who calls St. Pius X Church and School his or her home to: • Pray for the success of the Combined Phases I and II of our Capital Campaign. • Be an Ambassador by becoming informed and involved, enthusiastically sharing this information with as many people as you can, and encouraging others to become involved. • Make your sacrificial pledge.
