Mrs. Despoina Evgenidou. Honorary Director of the Numismatic Museum Athens Greece. Despoina Evgenidou, honorary director of the Numismatic Museum Athens Greece, worked as archaeologist and curator in the Greek archaeological service. She participated in excavations and served as a member of interdisciplinary committees for the restoration of monuments. As Head of the Department of Byzantine Museums, she planned and organized exhibitions in Greece and abroad, educational programs and events. She established the celebration of the European Cultural Heritage Days in Greece. She was a member of the Central Archaeological Council and representative of the Greek museums in the Network of European Museums organization (NEMO). As Director of the Numismatic Museum (2002-2011) she organized the transportation of the museum from the National Archaeological Museum to a new premises, the H. Schliemann’s mansion in Athens. She was president of the Committee for the restoration and conservation of the historical building. She planned and implemented the museological study for the permanent exhibition. She organized the fund raising and implemented temporary exhibitions, publications of the museum material by numismatists, the editing of the museum guide, educational programs and an audio guide. She collaborated with foreign archaeological institutes and museums for the organization of congresses and exhibitions.

Dr. Asma Ibrahim. Director of State Bank Museum, Archives & Art Gallery department in , Pakistan. Dr. Ibrahim is a senior Archaeologist/ Museulogist & Conservationist. She is the Founder and Director of State Bank Museum, Archives & Art Gallery department in Karachi, Pakistan. She serves as an Advisor on establishing several museums and conservation projects. Dr Ibrahim is also a pioneer member, General Secretary of SEAS Pakistan (an NGO), Centre for Archaeological & Environmental Research, Board member of Commonwealth Association of Museums, member FIREC (Standing Committee of Finance and Resource Committee) ICOM. Her current research focuses on ancient DNA in human remains from a Gandharan grave culture site, where she collaborates with the School of Medicine, Harvard University, USA. Dr. Asma Ibrahim did her Post-Doctoral Fellowship as a Fulbright scholar in Archaeological Chemistry, being the only scientist of Pakistan working on strontium, nitrogen & oxygen isotopes in Ancient Human remains and glass in order to investigate the origins of the Indus valley population and their glass. She is the only Pakistani member of the International scientific committee for glass. Her research projects are often discussed by the international press and shown on international television (BBC (Horizon), Discovery Channel, ZDF, BBC Channel-4).

Mr. Oley Kawani. Coin Museum Preparatory Office Curator at the Coin Museum Preparatory Office, Tokyo. Curator at the National Printing Bureau Museum, Tokyo, 2008-2017; Curatorial Researcher at The University Museum, Tokyo National University of the Arts, Tokyo, 2005-2008. Mr. Kawani received a Bachelor of Arts degree (Summa Cum Laude) in Art History from Hunter College of the City University of New York, 1996; without obtaining a degree, attended the Ph.D. Program in Art History at The Graduate School and University Center of the City University of New York, 1997-1999. Special interest: history of banknotes and securities with focus on their production technologies. Current research: the history of “geometrical lathes” (guilloché-pattern engraving machines).

Dr. Damon Monzavi. Exhibition Manager Bank Melli Museum, Iran. Dr. Monzavi is the Exhibition Manager at Bank Melli Museum, Iran. He is a member of ICOM since 2005. He has served as Board member of ICOM MPR – International Committee for Marketing and Public Relations for two terms (2013-2016, 2010-2013) and co-opt Technical advisor of ICOM MPR between 2016-2019.

Dr. Kaleemullah Lashari, Ph.D. Chair, Board Physical Heritage, Govt. of , Pakistan. A scholar of Medieval Period , he combines his skills in breaking new grounds by using innovative means. His pioneering work on Stone Carved Graves provided the background to the cultural milieu that nurtured a unique funerary architecture to come into existence. Also to his credit are wide scale explorations, which helped him acquire insight in the development of material culture in the country, out of these Expedition Indus is outstanding. Dr. Kaleemullah Lashari did his Post-Doctoral Fellowship in the Department of Anthropology at University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA. He is also a DAAD Fellow, under this program he did his Post-Doctoral Studies at the Islamic Arts Museum, Berlin. Dr. Lashari actively practices conservation of physical heritage; some outstanding works are to his credit. He created Institutes, Funds and has developed specialized museums. He serves on various bodies; he is the Chairman of Management Board for Antiquities & Physical Heritage. Dr. Lashari is one of the founding Members of the Karachi Conference Foundation; serves as President of SEAS Pakistan, a nonprofit organization working for the cause of heritage. He served Federal as well as Provincial Governments in various capacities as was associated with Pakistan Administrative Services. Published widely, also attended forums globally, discussing solutions to the challenges faced, participating in the Conferences, Workshops and has represented the country’s heritage globally. He heads the Technical Consultative Committee for Mohenjodaro, and is Chairman of the newly created body of Sindh Central Records; Coordinator to the Conference on Mohenjodaro; consultant to various heritage projects, and instrumental for creating policies for various museums in the province.

Dr. Ute Wartenberg. President and Research Curator, American Numismatic Society. Adjunct Member, Columbia University. Ute Wartenberg has worked in museums since 1991, when she was appointed Assistant Curator of Greek Coins in the Department of Coins and Medals. In 1999, she accepted the position of Executive Director of the American Numismatics Society in New York, the oldest numismatic museum in the United States. From 2002-2012, she and curatorial staff worked in close collaboration on exhibitions with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

Under her leadership, the Society has developed new methods of displaying coins and other objects online through applying Linked Open Data concepts. Dr Wartenberg has advised the US Congress and the Secretary of the Treasury on coin design while serving on the US Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee, and she is engaged in a number of cultural property initiatives. She has published extensively on ancient Greek coinage.

Mrs Eleni Zapiti. Collaborator Curator at the A. G. Leventis Gallery, Nicosia, Cyprus

From 1999 to 2016, held the position of Collections’ Curator at the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation, particularly of the Numismatic Collection and the Museum of the History of Cypriot Coinage, where she also undertook the development and the delivery of the educational programs. She has collaborated with institutions locally and abroad, she organized exhibitions, she participated in conferences and she delivered a series of lectures. She has published, edited and taught particularly on Cypriot numismatics and has been involved in the creation and editing of digital numismatics projects. Between 2011 and 2019 she served at the ICOMON Board, as secretary (2011-2016) and as chair (2016-2019); among her main responsibilities was the organization of the Committee’s Annual International Conferences.
