In her free time, she flls her schedule with Co-Class President duties as well as dance practice, speaking German, and annoying her so-called “friends”. Hannah, always with a positive mind, follows her role model Audrey Hepburn’s quote, “Nothing is impossible, the word itself says ‘I’m possible’!” She hopes you fnd happiness and opportunity in the upcom- Ethan Cundiff ing school year. Ethan is a senior at Oak Hills who always has something on his mind, and of course it has to do with sports. If Ethan is not slinging pizzas, he’s either at a sporting event or doing a post game report for the soccer team. In his free time, Ethan likes to watch sports or listen to some killer music. Ethan’s theme song is, well, obviously “Bringing Sexy Back” by Justin Timberlake. Ethan wants everyone to know that his favorite quote is, ¨It wasn’t me¨- Shaggy. Brenna McDermott Brenna is a senior at Oak HIlls who enjoys watching Netfix and making sarcastic comments when she knows the peo- ple on the screen can’t hear her. In her free time, she likes looking at cute pictures of pugs, crying over cute scenes in Grey’s Anatomy, and spending more money than she is allowed to. Brenna joined the Tartan because she likes writing short articles and learning about new things that are going on at Oak Hills. Brenna is “a brilliant brunette with lots of blonde moments.” - Anonymous. She hopes that you enjoy laughing at her articles this year. Leah Falco Leah is a junior at Oak Hills who procrastinates every assignment to the last minute, cries over fctional characters, and slowly falls asleep every moment of the day. She reluctantly swims, reads whenever possible, and plays with her sister’s cats, Tim and Ke$ha. When she’s not stressing, she likes to jump around to Indian rap and sappy country music. While she is stressing out, she fnds herself singing the themes to TV shows like Danny Phantom. Leah likes saying inspira- tional things like, “Every point in your life, even if it’s tough, is something to cherish and be happy about”-Jared Padalecki. Regardless of her lack of sleep, she hopes that you enjoy reading the Tartan this year. Abby Kromme Abby is a junior at Oak Hills who enjoys eating more ice cream than she should and pretending like she knows what’s going on. She doesn’t have much free time due to her involvement in Student Council, Key Club, Class Government, NHS, Tennis, and Track. Abby lives by the quote, “A candle loses nothing from lighting another candle.” -Anonymous. Not for the deeper meaning about giving and what-not, but because she believes it should always be lit. She hopes you fnd her articles this year to be as lit as she intends for them to be. Abby Dye Abby is a junior at Oak Hills who enjoys literature. In her free time, she likes to read. Abby joined the Tartan because she wants to have a stronger connection to Oak Hills. She is constantly busy between working on writing and working at Kroger. She believes “the stories we love best, live in us forever’’- J.K Rowling. Her goal is to keep you up to date with her articles. Alli Auel Alli is a junior at Oak Hills who enjoys spending time with her two very cute doggies, Daisy and Poncho, and having mental breakdowns over the many hours of homework she receives. She spends most of her time working, studying, being a dog mom, binge-watching Netfix, and writing for the Tartan. As a writer, and more importantly, as a human being, Alli believes that “the best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched- they must be felt with the heart” -Helen Keller. With an exciting and long school year ahead, she hopes everyone makes the best of what it has to ofer. Jocelyn Collett Jocelyn is a junior at Oak Hills who enjoys Halloween and working many many hours at her job while giggling with her best friends over things they fnd on Tumblr. In her free time, she enjoys binge-watching Netfix, cooking, and collect- ing horror movies as if her life depended on it. Jocelyn joined the Tartan to become a better writer and to have her voice be heard. Jocelyn hopes you enjoy her additions to the paper this year. Sydni Crass Sydni is a freshman at Oak Hills who plays on the JV volleyball team, is in Art club, and Partners club. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, writing, skiing, playing ping-pong, watching a lot of Modern Family, and eating as much as she possibly can. Sydni joined the Tartan because she loves to write and would love to get to know the students, staf, and high school events even better.
