CANTON, OHIO - The Pro Football Hall of Fame and Ford Motor Company joined Hall of Fame tight end DAVE CASPER as he recognized his alma mater on Wednesday afternoon as part of the Hometown Hall of Famer™ program. A crowd of more than 400 students and alumni witnessed the ceremony that took place at Chilton (Wisc.) High School.

Hometown Hall of Famer™ is a national program that honors the hometown roots of the greatest heroes of the game with special ceremonies and plaque dedication events in local communities.

“Ford Motor Company is honored to partner with the Pro Football Hall of Fame and we are excited to be here at Chilton High School to honor Dave Casper,” said Cameron Merritt, Chicago Sales Zone Manager, Ford. “Ford values a commitment to excellence and those values are shared with the Pro Football Hall of Fame.”

“Thanks to Ford Motor Company and the Pro Football Hall of Fame for this Hometown Hall of Famer ceremony,” said Casper. “When you talk about excellence, our undefeated Chilton High School team from 1969 exuded that and I am proud to be back here with some of my teammates.”

Casper is an 11-year NFL veteran who played for the Oakland/Los Angeles Raiders (1974-1980, 1984), Houston Oilers (1980-83) and (1983). A five-time Pro Bowler, he was a member of the Oakland Raiders XI championship team and named All-Pro four times during his career. The Class of 2002 enshrinee was also named to the NFL’s All-Decade Team of the 1970s.
