The Hall of Fame, conveniently located less than an hour’s drive from FirstEnergy Stadium, is celebrating Raiders Fan Weekend from Friday, Oct. 24 through Monday, Oct. 27. Highlighting the themed weekend are giveaways and a special Raiders exhibit. The first 500 fans dressed in Raiders gear to visit the Hall of Fame starting on Friday will receive a free Hall of Fame rally towel. Also, fans dressed in Raiders apparel will be given a free pack of Panini cards featuring the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2014 with a purchase in the Hall of Fame Store. The special exhibit curated by the Hall’s staff will feature a variety of artifacts pulled from the museum’s archives that chronicle the long and storied history of the “Silver and Black.” Among the rarely seen artifacts featured in the exhibit include: a knee brace worn by quarterback Ken Stabler, the “00” jersey worn by Hall of Fame center Jim Otto, a Jim Plunkett autographed Super Bowl XV football, the jersey and shoes worn by Hall of Fame cornerback Mike Haynes, and the jersey and shoes from Hall of Fame defensive end Howie Long. The Raiders and Browns meet on Sunday for the 21st time in the regular season. Twelve of those games were decided by a touchdown or less. The Raiders lead the series 11-9.
