Skopelos Alonnisos Kastro ) on ) on Tsougria ) AREA : 4167 SQ KM 4167 SQ KM : AREA „ © Lonely Planet Publications 647 Evia & the Sporades Εύβοια & Οι Σποράδες In a nation known for its magical islands, Evia and the Sporades are not exactly household names. Some would be surprised, in fact, that Evia is an island at all. Joined by a short bridge at Halkida, and separated from the mainland by a narrow gulf, it’s one of those places that seem to be hidden in full view. Only a couple of hours from Athens, Evia’s busy gateway resorts get their car loads of weekend visitors. But across the island, the pace is slower and the landscape pristine for long stretches, dotted by hill-top monasteries, small farms and vineyards, and goats staring at you in the middle of the road. Small beaches dot the west and southeast coasts, many of them with no more than one or two tavernas, and crystal-clear bays that would be lined with matching umbrellas and beach bars elsewhere. Skyros, the southernmost of the Sporades (in Greek, ‘scattered ones’), retains a good deal of local character, and its unique cuisine gets a thumbs up from locals and visitors alike. Closest to the mainland is Skiathos; once a sleepy fishing port, it now sees charter flights from northern Europe, and claims the sandiest beaches in the Aegean, along with several prime diving spots. Low-key Skopelos kicks back with a postcard-worthy harbour and its share of fine bays, beaches and forest meadows laced with old walking trails. Alonnisos, the most remote of the group, anchors the National Marine Park of Alonnisos – established to protect the Mediterranean monk seal – and is a model for ecological awareness throughout Greece. Alonnisos, like much of Evia and the other Sporades, is certain to yield unexpected finds, some from the natural landscape, and others from the good-natured islanders you’ll encounter at every turn. Guida di Alonissos Alonissos misura 62 kmq e la sua cima maggiore, il Monte Kavouli, nella parte nord occidentale, raggiunge 476 m s.l.m. E' lunga circa 20 km e la costa nord-occidentale si presenta prevalentemente rocciosa con coste che si gettano a picco nel mare. La parte sud occidentale ospita le pinete più rigogliose che scendono fino al mare. Le spiagge accessibili sono tutte racchiuse nella zona centro sud dell'isola, poi la costa si alza lasciando spazio solo a qualche cala minore. Dov'é? Raggiungere l'isola, dopo le olimpiadi del 2004, è diventato più facile. Dall'aeroporto si prende la navetta 093 che termina alla stazione dei bus del Peloponneso (Stathmoss Peloponnesu), si scende alla fermata precedente (la penultima), alla stazione dei bus per l'Attica, conosciuta come "Stathmoss Liosion", (tel. 01/8317163/153). Tempo di percorrenza circa 40 minuti. Da Liosion ogni mezz'ora circa parte un bus per AG. Kostantinos - Volos. Per gli orari dei bus consulta: http://www.enteturismoellenico.com/Come_Arrivare/trasporti/trasporti_pubblici.htm Alonissos é collegata giornalmente con Ag. Kostantinos con un traghetto e un servizio di aliscafi. Il traghetto impiega 4 ore e 30, circa 3 ore l'aliscafo. Da qualche anno l'isola non è più collegata con l'Eubea. Da Volos i collegamenti con le Sporadi sono più frequenti e migliori. I tempi di percorrenza sono identici a quelli da Ag. Kostantinos. Alonissos è collegata con Skopelos (porti di Glossa e Skopelos) e con Skiathos con almeno due corse al giorno di aliscafi e un traghetto serale.

Destaca en primer lugar el sistema de poljes, relacionados con la estructura geológica y la evolución cli- mática de la isla durante el Cuaternario. De los 12 poljes diferenciados, tres de ellos se mantienen todavía en situación cerrada. Estas depresiones presentan extensos desarrollos de superficies de aplanamiento y conos rocosos generados por procesos de criptocorrosión kárstica en diferentes momentos de su evolu- ción cuaternaria. Por otra parte, las áreas de cumbre aparecen con restos de superficies aplanadas heredadas, afectadas por campos de lapiaz y dolinas. The ground is mountainous and around three quarters of the ground are covered by pine trees. Apart from pine trees there is also a rich flora as a great number of rare plants adorn the rich nature. The main road network of Skopelos is a distance of 35 klms. It stretches from the Hora to the port of Glossa (Loutraki). To enjoy all the beautiful sights of Skopelos it is helpful to have the use of a car or motorbike. If you don’t have one of your own you can rent a vehicle on the island or use the local bus or taxi service. The roads are in good condition and the ride through the forests is particularly enchanting. Nature has endued the island with some characteristics that are hard to find elsewhere.

Elias. Geschichte der Crewfindung Auf der Tullner Bootsmesse hatte Birgit Info-Material von Renate und Stefan mitgenommen und auf diese Weise dann gleich Kontakt aufgenommen. Die Termin- und Kojenplatz Gestaltung hat dann ergeben, dass mit der Familie ein eigener Törn geplant wurde. Mit Kindern Segeln war neu für uns, hat uns aber auch neugierig gemacht. Bei einem Kennenlern-Brunch in ihrem Haus haben wir unter anderem erfahren, dass die Kinder, Lilly 9 Jahre und Max 12 Jahre, bereits seit einiger Zeit auf der Alten Donau segeln lernen. Außerdem war die Familie im Vorjahr auf einem Gullet-Motorsegler mit 10 Personen und hatte dabei Lust auf mehr Segeln bekommen. Schon nach dem ersten Treffen hatten Stefan und Renate ein gutes Gefühl, die Chemie hat gepasst. Vereinbarungen wurden getroffen, der nötige Vertrag abgeschlossen. Das zweite Crewtreffen mit Einkaufsliste und sonstiger Detailbesprechung fand dann bei Stefan und Renate zu Hause statt und hat die positiven Gefühle noch bestärkt. Samstag, 23.07.2011 Achilleion 0 sm gesegelt 16,2 sm mit Motor Anreise Stefan und Renate befanden sich bereits in Achilleion, da sie in der Vorwoche im selben Revier mit Freunden gesegelt sind.
