The lyrics include a simile: You're as cold as ice You're willing to sacrifice our love In this example, the lyrics are not talking about the weather. Instead, they compare a woman to ice to show her emotions. Many songs can be used to teach about similes. -

Yet here I am, a mere few months after burning my bridges, giving up on new music and making a world of enemies, back in the game.
