THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF MIDDLESBROUGH (WOODLANDS ROAD / SOUTHFIELD ROAD / FERN STREET) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2020 NOTICE is hereby given that on 21st April 2020 Middlesbrough Council made an Order which prevents vehicles from using the lengths of road set out below due to redevelopment / improvement works by Teesside University taking place on or near the road because of the likelihood of danger to the public. Access for pedestrians and the emergency services will be maintained at all times. Access will also be provided for vehicles used in connection with maintenance and works carried out by statutory undertakers. The roads will be closed during the programmed dates shown below for up to 18 months or until the works have been completed and there is no longer a danger to the public. If the works are not completed within 18 months, the Order may be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State. Historic Environment Audit for the S&DR 1830 Branch Line to Middlesbrough On behalf of Middlesbrough Council April 2018 The Stockton & Darlington Railway – Middlesbrough Branch Line Historic Environment Audit The Stockton & Darlington Railway – Middlesbrough Branch Line Historic Environment Audit Summary This report commissioned by Middlesbrough Council takes forward one of the recommendations from the S&DR Heritage Audit prepared in 2016 on behalf of the County Durham, Stockton and Darlington authorities to extend the project along the S&DR branch lines which dated between 1825 and 1830. The audit is designed to pull together key and core information to inform future development work along the route of the 1830 Middlesbrough branch line. The report also includes recommendations for heritage led regeneration along the 1830 corridor and the site of the world’s first planned railway town at St. Hilda’s; this includes enhanced access with interpretation along the 1830 route and distinctive high quality residential uses on the site of the planned new town and new sustainable uses for the surviving new town buildings such as the Old Town Hall, The former Ship Inn and the Captain Cook inn. 9 THE NEW TEES CROSSING: Unlocking the Future Prosperity of Tees Valley MARCH 201 Public Consultation Brochure FOREWORD THE STORY SO FAR ees Valley Combined Authority has ambitious plans to grow the local economy. By 2026 we want to create 25,000 new jobs and build 23,000 new homes. For all of this to happen we need a first-class transport system. T Transformational improvements to the road network are critical to help us achieve our vision to provide a high-quality, quick, affordable, reliable, integrated and safe transport network for people and freight to move within, to and from Tees Valley. The existing Tees Viaduct carries the A19 Trunk Road and suffers severe congestion at peak times. This daily congestion is frustrating for motorists and negatively impacts local businesses. To boost access to strategically important sites, and to ease congestion, we need to provide a new strategic road crossing of the River Tees. Providing a New Tees Crossing is therefore one of our main transport priorities for the region. It is seen as essential to facilitate growth and is supported and endorsed by Transport for the North. We have been developing and refining our plans since work started on the New Tees Crossing scheme in 2015. The timeline below shows the progress so far In this brochure we explain our proposed options for a New Tees Crossing. We also provide details of how you can give us your feedback during our public consultation period. STATUTORY INSTRUMENTS 2011 No. 2679 IMMIGRATION The Immigration (Procedure for Formation of Civil Partnerships) Regulations 2011 Made - - - - 7th November 2011 Laid before Parliament 10th November 2011 Coming into force - - 1st December 2011 The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraphs, 4, 9, 13 and 16(3)(a) of Schedule 23 to the Civil Partnership Act 2004(a). In accordance with paragraphs 4(4), 9(2) and 13(2) of Schedule 23 to the Civil Partnership Act 2004 she has consulted with the Registrar General. Citation, commencement and interpretation 1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Immigration (Procedure for Formation of Civil Partnerships) Regulations 2011 and shall come into force on 1 December 2011. (2) In these Regulations— (a) “the 2004 Act” means the Civil Partnership Act 2004; and (b) “civil partnership” means a civil partnership which exists under or by virtue of the 2004 Act. Specified registration authorities in England and Wales 2.—(1) The registration authorities in England and Wales listed in the left-hand column of the Schedule to these Regulations are specified for the purposes of paragraph 4(1)(a) of Schedule 23 to the 2004 Act. (2) An employee or officer or other person provided by a specified registration authority is a “relevant individual” for the purposes of paragraph 4(1)(b) and (2) of Schedule 23 to the 2004 Act if he or she— (a) is authorised by that authority to attest notices of proposed civil partnership; and (b) is located at the office specified in relation to that authority in the right-hand column of the Schedule to these Regulations. -
