Nunca he entendido esa apreciación.

  • WAR FRONT to STAND for $250,000 in >17
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 18, 2016 TRAIN THEM LIKE PLETCHER WAR FRONT TO STAND by Bill Finley FOR $250,000 IN >17 A young Indian girl is infatuated by a sport but partaking in it runs counter to everything that her parents and their culture believe, that a woman should focus on her education, family and marriage and that sports are a male domain. Aparna Battula saw that movie, too. ABend It Like Beckham@ was a hit both in the U.S. and India, and she knows what it must have been like to be the main character, Jess Bhamra. She=s lived the same story, only the sport is different. By way of Bangalore, India, Battula came to the U.S. to pursue her dream of becoming, not a soccer player, but a jockey. She knew that could not be done in her country because women are not accepted on the racetrack there. AA lot of people compare me to the character in that movie, that my story is just like >Bend it Like Beckham.= It=s the same back home,@ Battula said. WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2021 NO COOLING OFF 'JERSEY JOE' NO MORE, BRAVO TO RIDE PERMANENTLY IN CALIFORNIA SUB-ZERO'S JIM BAKKE by Bill Finley When Joe Bravo decided to leave New Jersey because of new regulations banning the use of the whip, his future was unclear. Bravo, 49, needed a place to ride, but leaving the comfortable confines of Monmouth Park might be difficult. He had been riding at the Jersey Shore track since the late 1980s and has been leading rider there 13 times. But rather than struggling outside of the Garden State, Bravo is having a meet to remember at his new home, Del Mar. With a week to go in the meet, Bravo has 20 wins, good for fifth in the standings. His winning percentage (20%) trails only Flavien Prat (27%).
