Overview of the State Economy : 1.1 The size, composition and growth of the economy determine the revenue potential of the State and the size of the budget; and the size of the budget determines the level of public expenditure. The economy is measured in terms of Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) both at current and constant prices.
