We want to strive to have the best coaches, facilities and club environment where all players are valued and all members feel free to contribute to our success. We are in a process of continuous improvement and I thank all of you for your contributions to Subi. We have financial strength through our continued relationship with the Town of Cambridge, our sponsors, our Committee and our players. We have club strength through our leadership group’s contribution and our good blokes only policy. We are a great club and our philosophy of extending our support to our players way past the sporting field and into all aspects of their lives is what will make us the best club. This year we have tasted the sweetness of success and the bitterness of defeat yet the achievements of our teams from 13’ to masters have been admiral. Highlights for me include Faisal getting his first victory up and then needing a refresher on the club song, Roger’s 100, the masters tour of India lead by Larry Davies, the Saturday night speeches and the curry nights of Faisal and Laddie. There is so much to enjoy, why wouldn’t you want to be a part of it and here are a few additional highlights: Ladies Day Brilliant work fellas. Many thanks to team Sansalone for organising and catering this event. We are fortunate to have had Team Sans at Subi and I thank you on behalf of the Club. The calendar was literally a work of art and with a few rough rocks, AJ and the team were able to shape a few absolute gems for which the ladies were very appreciative. A great afternoon and must do on the Subi social calendar. 500 Game Event Many of you will not know how much it has meant to so many past players and supporters to be invited back to a Club they have played at, supported and loved. The passion on the night was outstanding and whilst it was an opportunity to recognise the players who have played 1st Grade for Subi with their Cap numbers, it was a celebration for all contributors to Subi. Thanks to all for your contributions that resulted in a great night. Windup I continue to be impressed and amazed at the quality of our creative talent at Subi. To Jim and Simon, thanks for hosting the evening and to the creative talent behind God, brilliant. Well done to the award recipients and well done to the new life members of our Club being Greg Catlin and Gavin Swan. For those who attended the evening, it was not hard to apprecaite Cato’s and Swanny’s pride with their awards and their love of Subi. After 3 years, our Club Coach has stepped down and it is always good to look back and reflect on the contributions made
