A-6 www.ammann-whitney.com ARTBA 2015 Leadership Directory & Buyers' Guide CHAIRMAN’S MESSAGE

This 2015 American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) “Leadership Directory & Buyers’ Guide” is all about connections and information.

In the pages of this annual publication, we’re connecting you with a “who’s who” of the top executives and companies in the transportation infrastructure business. We’re also connecting you with companies that have products and services aimed at helping improve your business operations.

The directory—the most widely utilized association resource throughout the year—provides contact data for ARTBA volunteer leaders, including the members of the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, the Council of State Executives, Past Chairman’s Council, and life members. New for this year, we feature short bio sketches on the ARTBA officers.

The directory also lists more than 550 “graduates” of the ARTBA Foundation’s Young Executive Development Program, or YEDP, which celebrates its 20th Nick Ivanoff anniversary in 2015. We feature the many ARTBA committees and councils that are charged with developing transportation policy, along with the diverse 2015 ARTBA Chairman roster of industry professionals from both the private and public sectors serving on them.

A searchable database of contact information for all 6,500 ARTBA members can be found in the “Members Only” section of www.artba.org.

Beginning on page B-1, you’ll find the Buyers’ Guide, which showcases products and services from leading industry suppliers, manufacturers, design firms and contractors. The guide is chock-full of information that includes a description of each company’s offerings and available sales contacts so that you can reach them directly to learn more about how they can help your firm, agency or institution.

Special thanks and appreciation are due to all our advertisers and Buyers’ Guide participants! ARTBA could not produce this directory without their support. We hope you will use it regularly during 2015!

How will highways be paid for in the future? Project delivery and financing options continue to emerge as do insurance options. Are you funding for your future through your insurance program?

ARTBA has engaged Marsh to provide its contractors division members an exciting new group captive insurance option offering contractors lower costs, less price volatility and greater control over their casualty insurance program. A significant benefit to this Marsh/ARTBA insurance program is that members create a competitive advantage by making insurance a profit center, where the premiums paid are eligible for a dividend in future years based on favorable loss history.
