Clearpay Gets Brits Shopping Again with London Week Celebration Bridging the gap between physical and digital shopping, “Clearpay Quarter” on the King’s Road brings high fashion to the high street for a three day celebration

LONDON, 9 June 2021 -- To celebrate London , the British Fashion Council and Clearpay, the leading ‘buy now pay later’ service, will unveil “Clearpay Quarter”, a unique and stylish event to get Brits shopping again. Located on London’s famous King’s Road in Chelsea, renowned for its fashion heritage and great shopping, the experience brings the iconic to British consumers - allowing anyone to access the best fashion directly from the high street and make the King’s Road their runway.

The Clearpay Quarter launches following the reopening of U.K. retailers after a challenging economic year. The programming is aimed at helping to reignite British retail by bringing consumers back to this iconic shopping mecca. It will offer shoppers and fashion fans alike an ‘access all areas’ look at London Fashion Week, right by all of their favourite brands on the King’s Road. The three-day pop-up will feature streamed runway shows, fashion-themed flms and exclusive food and drink menus, complementing London Fashion Weeks offers from over 30 fashion and beauty boutiques, restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood including Rixo, Copit, Bluebird and The Fashion School.

Over the weekend, consumers will have the chance to relax in the ultimate summer set-up, catch up with friends whilst taking in the shows via a giant screen at Duke of York Square, shop the Clearpay app from the comfort of a deck chair, and watch iconic fashion themed flms in the evening. Visitors will also have the opportunity to win a shopping prize by capturing content in the highly-Instagrammable space - posting directly to social media for exclusive fashion giveaways.

Guests can sip cocktails and mocktails throughout the day, grab a mint ice cream and popcorn inspired by Clearpay’s brand colour, Bondi Mint - as well as order delicious food from local favourite Vardo to be enjoyed from their deckchairs or on the Green opposite the Saatchi Gallery, open for picnics throughout the weekend.

To continue the London Fashion Week celebrations, two fashion illustrators will be located along the King’s Road capturing the atmosphere and stylish looks of shoppers, leaving visitors with their own complimentary LFW memento to take away.

The Clearpay Quarter will be open from Friday, June 11th – Monday June 14th from 10:30 am - 9:30 pm. Friday will see London Fashion Week February runway highlights on the big screen before the live show schedule commences on Saturday 12th up until Monday 14th.
