Gail Kipper and Dr. Roy Montesano, for their ongoing commitment I find it to be a fun-loving musical that brings joy into the lives of the to our theater program, students who perform it! And not surprisingly have found that even the biggest skeptics enjoy themselves because of the infectious music and The Hastings Drama Booster Club – Lisa Linn, Joanne Levine, and the enthusiasm of the casts relishing the likes of "We Go Together" Barron Lerner – for their supporting production needs with the onstage. concession proceeds, I want to say that I personally see the biggest lesson learned by GREASE The Riverdale Rising Stars, for their ongoing generosity of lending comes near the end, when Rizzo sings "There Are Worse Things I Could costumes and props to our theater program, Do". This song clearly sends the message that we should not judge others; that appearances can be deceiving. The busy lives of these 7th and 8th graders have provided challenges in scheduling to be sure. But as you George Prine and the entire Buildings & Grounds Staff for their will see, the result is a joyous evening. A thoroughly entertaining, continued commitment to our theater program, sweet GREASE. I am very proud of the kids. Hillari Freireich, Drew Swiderski, and WHOH for their interview of Many thanks to the parents who have truly been tireless in their cast members and director and video of parts of the production for contributions; from props to set to meals to costumes. A huge thank airing locally, you to Tony Wan for his talented re-imagining of sets that I"see" in my research; to the gifted Binny and Jen (and team) for the quickest and to all the parents of cast and crew for their many contributions artwork turnaround I have ever seen; to the large and enthusiastic crew led expertly by my good friend, Denise Eberly, and to the mentors that of time and energy in help with sets, costumes, props, publicity, guide them (Gretchen Bogan, Adam Gardner, Maddie Kushner, Daisy program, concessions, feeding the cast and crew during tech week, Mitchell, Miranda Mitchell, Clay Tercek, Ben Torda, Clara Weinstein); to hair & make-up, the cast party, and all the other production Wendy Kaiser for her always valuable organization and coordination of elements, which always add to the success of our shows. loose ends; to Gerard Marciano for his guidance and problem-solving; to my assistant, Sabrina Berfas, who marveled at the growth of the children in her first outing as an Asst. Director and who the kids adored and finally, to Bob Walton for providing professional leadership (and a stellar orchestra) as our Musical Director - which raises the bar for the kids.
