Ford Stadium. SMU had a season-high 323 yards on the ground with a season-high six rushing touchdowns. Jones and Davis were also the first multiple 100-yard rushers in a game since 2002 for SMU. Prescott Line and Braeden West added rushing touchdowns in the fourth quarter for SMU. SMU took a 7-0 lead early in the first quarter when Zach Wood blocked a field goal and R.C. Cox returned it 66 yards for his first-career score. Davis had a 13-yard touchdown on a run later in the quarter and SMU scored 21 straight in the second quarter for a 35-7 halftime lead. Jones had touchdown runs of 1, 5 and 35 yards in the second quarter. Tanner Lee was 9-of-22 passing for 103 yards and a touchdown for Tulane.
