Tetanus, Flu, and Rhino shots are required to be administered and documented before the sale. If International health papers are needed, go to web site www. aphis.USDA.gov/vs or call Vet services in Pickerington, OH 614- 856-4735 for any questions. All bred mares must have a Vet certifi- cate within the last 30 days stating that the mare is in foal. Any buyer of a bred mare who is uncertain of her being in foal must have her Vet checked by the sale Vet before she leaves the grounds. If she is bred the cost of checking will be paid by the buyer. If the mare is not in foal the cost will be paid by the seller. Check In No horses will be allowed on the grounds without proper health papers. Horses arriving must be taken directly to the sale office to have their paperwork processed. Sale numbers will be assigned and horses can be stalled. Be sure to send your health papers with your shipper if you plan to send the horses ahead of yourself. All horses hip tagged MUST go through the sale ring. Hay, Bedding and Feed All consignors are responsible for their own feed and hay. First bedding only will be provided. Additional bedding will be avail- able on the grounds for purchase. Hay will also be available on the grounds for purchase. 5 Registrations All consignments to the Buckeye Morgan Horse Sale LLC are re- quired to be registered. The sale also requires that all original regis- trations and signed transfers be in place before the horse goes into the sale ring. Catalog number of the horse is the sale order. The seller quarantees the identity of each animal as it appears on the registra- tion certificate. All horses will be transfered to the person indicat- ed on the sales slip. Cost to transfer ownership of the consignments to new owners will be deducted from the sale proceeds. Buyer will be responsible for any additional transfers. Title passes at the fall of the auctioneer’s hammer, at which all risk and responsibility for the horse passes to the buyer. Buyers: All sales are final. Terms All consignments must have a new halter and lead rope, otherwise the sale committee will supply one and charge the seller for the cost. No horse will be allowed to leave the grounds without a checkout slip indicating full payment. All horses must be removed from the barns by midnight Saturday evening, the last day of the sale unless other arrangements are made with the sale committee. All sellers are responsible for their horses until the time the gavel falls, after which the buyer is in full responsibility. The sale committee reserves the right to reject any horses for any reason, including but not limited to: unsoundness, poor condition or improper documentation of regis- tration or health papers. Warranties Ages, heights, markings and physical conditions are approximat- ed and not guaranteed. It is the responsibility and obligation of the buyer to examine the horse before he bids, as ALL sales are final. In case of typographical errors or other errors are discovered, the auctioneer will announce them, which will take precedence over the printed catalog. Buyers are therefor cautioned to pay attention to the auctioneers announcements. 6 Buyer’s Payment Buyer shall pay for the horse(s) prior to the conclusion of the sale by one of the following means: cash, approved personal check, mon- ey order, cashier’s check, traveler’s check or credit card. US funds only. Credit card payments will include a 6% buyers premium. 6% buyers premium waived with cash or check. Checks are to be made payable to Buckeye Morgan Horse Sale LLC. A $35.00 service charge will be made on all bad checks (NSF, Stop Payment, etc.) Guarantees No guarantees whatsoever, expressed or implied are made by the sale committee, the auctioneers, pedigree readers, bid spotter or any- one associated with the Buckeye Morgan Horse Sale as to title, qual- ity, unsoundness or soundness of any consignments. Presentations given in writing by the consignors to the sale committee will be an- nounced at the time of sale as though by the consignor. Any claims made based upon said presentation, guarantees, or omissions, shall be made against the consignor only and not the sale committee or any persons related to the sale. Sellers statements will be announced at the sale. Liabilities Everyone is urged to use caution and care while attending the sale. The Buckeye Morgan Horse Sale LLC, all members of the committee, and all associated with the sale in any way, shall not be liable for any injuries sustained by anyone attending the sale, and all parties en- tering the grounds where the sale is held do so at their own risk and further agree that the organization responsible for the sale is hereby released from any liability or responsibility for any injuries sustained by them during the attendance of the sale and its related activities from any whatsoever. Notice: Under Ohio Law 9ORC 2305.321. an equine professional is not liable for an injury to or the death of an equine activity participant that results from an inherent risk of the activity. The Buckeye Morgan Horse Sale LLC committee shall not be responsible for any lost or stolen article while at the sale. 7 Camping Facilities for camping is available on the grounds for $25.00 per night. Fees must be paid in the office and a permit will be given. -Wa ter and electric hookups provided. Fairgrounds is handicap accessible. Transit Stalls Transit stalls are available for $25.00 per night. This fee must be paid in the office. Stalls will be available for early arrival on Weds. Please make arrangements with the barn manager or sale secretary. Commission Rates Commission shall be 8% of the first $10,000.00, 6% up to $20,000.00, and then 2% of remaining balance with a minimum of $100. Buyer has the option to “No Sale” following the above commission rates. Tack Stalls Tack stalls are available for $25.00 per event and should be requested through the sale secretary.
