Statement by Lanny Davis:

“After nearly two years affiliating my law firm with the great strategic communications firm of LEVICK, I have decided to reestablish an independent firm. I will be starting new law and PR firms to continue to integrate law, media, and politics into solutions for clients. My partners in the new law firm will be Adam Goldberg and Josh Galper, both of whom were my prior law partners and worked closely with me over a number of years to develop the law firm/crisis management practice model. Adam, a Harvard Law School graduate, was a former special associate counsel to President Clinton. Josh, a graduate, is chief policy officer and general counsel for the technology company Personal, and has served in a number of political/media/legal capacities, including as an advisor to University of Oklahoma President David Boren both in the Senate and at OU in addition to other national figures. The new law firm is “Davis, Goldberg & Galper.”

Eleanor McManus will run our new PR firm “Trident DMG,” which will focus on crisis and strategic communications, litigation communications, advocacy, reputation management, and public relations. She was previously a senior producer for CNN at Live before she joined me to support my crisis communications practice in 2010.

We are grateful to LEVICK and will continue to use LEVICK as trusted friends and experts to support our work.

My thanks to Richard Levick and the entire LEVICK team for working with me and my colleagues and for their support and friendship. While we are separating our organizations, we look forward to working together and continued friendship in the months and years ahead.”
