105.7 The Point March Music Mayhem Contest OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN 1. The Contest Description The Contest is based upon an entrant’s predictions of which bands will receive the most votes during the Contest Period for each bracket (each a “Bracket Challenge”). The Contest allows you to select which bands you think will receive the most votes during the Bracket Challenge. From all eligible entries received, the winners will be determined according to the scoring rules set forth in these Official Rules. The Contest is intended for recreational purposes only and may not be used for any form of gambling. This Contest is operated by Sponsor. 2. Eligibility The 105.7 The Point March Music Mayhem Contest (the “Contest”) is open only to legal residents of Missouri and Illinois who are eighteen (18) years or older at the time of participation. Void outside of MO and IL, and where prohibited by law. No purchase necessary to enter the Contest. In order to be eligible to win a prize in this Contest, you cannot have won any prize within thirty (30) days prior to the awarding of a prize to you in this Contest from KPNT. These restrictions apply even if you reject the prize. Employees of Hubbard Radio St. Louis, LLC and its station 105.7 The Point, 11647 Olive Boulevard, Creve Coeur, MO 63141 (the "Sponsor"), the venues hosting the concerts listed in the prize section (collectively, the “Promotional Participants”) and Hubbard Radio, LLC, or any of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, or any other company or individual involved with the design, production execution or distribution of the Contest (collectively with Sponsor, the "Released Parties”) and their immediate family (spouse, parents and step-parents, siblings and step-siblings, and children and step-children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible to enter or win. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Participation constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor's decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. Anyone participating in this Contest or claiming a prize in this sweepstakes in violation of these rules will be disqualified from winning a prize in this Contest and from participating in Sponsor sweepstakes or contests for a period of one (1) year. 3. The Contest Period The Contest commences on March 20, 2020 and concludes on April 3, 2019 (the “Contest Period”). The Contest Period will consist of two (2) periods: (1) a sign-up period, which shall begin at 12:00:00 PM Central Time (“CT”) on March 20, 2020 and end at 9:59:59 AM CT on March 24, 2020 (“Sign-up Period”); and (2) a voting period which shall begin at 10:00:00 AM CT on March 24, 2020 and end at 5:59:59 PM CT on April 3, 2020 (“Voting Period”). 4. How to Enter To be eligible to play, each eligible participant must first register by visiting the Contest website at www.1057thepoint.com (“Website”) during the Sign-up Period, by finding the March Music Mayhem image that will send you directly to the Contest page. Once you are on this page, click the link and follow the on-line instructions to sign up by providing your email address and other information as requested on the Website, upon submitting the information, you will be eligible to participate in the Contest (each, a “Player”). 5. How to Play/Win Beginning on March 20, 2020 at 8:00:00 AM CT, a bracket of 64 bands will be placed on the Website. Visit the Website during the Bracket Selection Period to fill out your bracket by picking which bands you think will advance to the next round (“Picks”) and ultimately move on to be the final champion based on total votes. Points will be awarded for each correct Pick the Player makes, per the Bracket Point System chart below (“Points”). The Player with the highest Points at the end of the Contest will be deemed the Grand Prize winner. In the event of a tie, the Player with the most correct Picks will be deemed the winner from among all tying Players. In the event a tie still exists after the most correct Picks, tie-breaker questions will be used until a tie no longer exists between Players. In order to be eligible, all brackets must be submitted no later than 9:59:59 AM CT on March 24, 2020 in order to be eligible for the Contest. The Grand Prize winner will be notified by email or telephone on or about April 6, 2020. Odds of being the Grand Prize winner depend on the number of eligible Players participating in the Contest, and the accuracy of the predictions in each Match-Up (as defined in Section 6 below). 6. Bracket Point System Round 1: 2 Points for each correct Pick Round 2: 4 Points for each correct Pick Round 3: 8 Points for each correct Pick Round 4: 16 Points for each correct Pick Round 5: 32 Points for each correct Pick Final Round: 64 Bonus Points awarded to anyone who’s Pick included the overall Champion 7. Voting/Match-Ups After each Player makes their Picks and submits their bracket, during the Voting Period, Players should tune in to 105.7 The Point for the on-air matches, which will take place weekdays (Mon-Fri) from Tuesday, March 24th-Wednesday, April 1st at or about 10:10 AM CT, 11:10 AM CT, 12:10 PM CT, 1:10 PM CT, 2:10 PM CT, 3:10 PM CT, 4:10 PM CT, and 5:10 PM CT, on Thursday, April 2nd at 11:10 AM CT, 1:10 PM CT, 3:10 PM CT, and 5:10 PM CT, and Friday, April 3rd at 1:10 PM CT, 3:10 PM CT, and 5:10 PM CT (each, a “Match- Up”). One (1) song will be played from each artist/band during each Match-Up, and Players can go to the Website and cast a vote for their favorite artist/band while the during the hour in which the songs were played. Upon conclusion of the hour in which the songs were played, the artist/band who received the most votes during the Match-Up will be declared the winner and will move on to the next Round. All votes must be cast before the conclusion of the forty-five minute voting period which each Match-Up occurred in order to be eligible as a vote. Each Player who selected that Match-Ups winning artist/band in their Picks on their bracket will receive the Points, depending on what Round is playing, as set forth in the Bracket Point System above. Limit one (1) vote per person, per minute, per match-up during each voting period. Sponsor reserves the right to identify any individual attempting to unfairly influence the voting, violating the terms of these official rules, or purposefully inflating the votes by committing fraud, cheating, or violating the number of votes allowed per person at Sponsor’s sole discretion, and not count any such votes. 8. Prizes and Approximate Retail Values (“ARV”) - One (1) Grand Prize – Two (2) tickets to each of the following shows: THE STRUTS – June 5th @ Saint Louis Music Park COLLECTIVE SOUL – June 11th @ Saint Louis Music Park RAINBOW KITTEN SURPRISE – July 10th @ Saint Louis Music Park PRIMUS – July 11th @ Saint Louis Music Park DISTURBED – July 15th @ Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre THE BLACK KEYS – July 21st @ Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre KALEO – July 25th @ Saint Louis Music Park INCUBUS – September 1st @ Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre POINTFEST – September 12th @ Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre KORN – September 17th @ Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre THE KILLERS – September 20th @ Chaifetz Arena FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH – October 2nd @ Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre TOTAL ARV OF GRAND PRIZE: $703.90. Tickets are subject to the terms, conditions, and restrictions as printed on the tickets, including rain check policies. Transportation and parking are not included as part of the prize. Tickets may not be sold on eBay, Craigslist or similar third party site. Tickets are non- transferrable, not substitutable and not redeemable for cash. Sponsor may substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value for any reason at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor is not responsible if the concert is delayed, postponed or cancelled and if such delay or cancellation occurs, the winner will only receive the remainder of the prize. Grand Prize winner and guest will be required to sign a liability and/or publicity release (“Prize Release”) prior to issuance of a prize. A 1099 form will be submitted to all appropriate taxing authorities, and by signing a Prize Release, the Grand Prize winner accepts the Grand Prize, and even if the Grand Prize winner does not use the Grand Prize, he/she will be responsible for the applicable taxes. The Grand Prize winner must meet the eligibility requirements as set forth in Paragraph 1 of these Official Rules. 10. Claiming a Prize The prize winners must claim his/her prize in person at 105.7 The Point Studios, 11647 Olive Boulevard, Creve Coeur, MO 63141, during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm). Failure to comply with this deadline shall be deemed to be the winner’s forfeiture of his/her right to claim the prize. The prize winner must prove he/she is the qualified winner by presenting identification acceptable to Sponsor as a condition of claiming the prize (e.g., state driver’s license; state issued identification card; valid passport with address verification; or birth certificate with social security card and photo identification and address verification).
