    Dear participants, Welcome to Fjordkraft Bergen City Marathon. It’s the seventh time the race is held in Bergen. This year 11.000 runners have signed up, and we look forward to a great racing day in our spectacular course. In this document you can read about our Sports Exhibition (where you pick up your bib number), start times, what we serve at the refreshment stations, storage of clothes, changing rooms etc. Traffic is limited by regulation and detours. After the following schedule the regulation of traffic will cease and runners have to follow normal traffic rules: Cut-off time 21 km - Passing on the harbour/Bryggen after 10:45 AM. (If you pass the time limit point later than 10:45 AM you will be stopped, but you will be approved half-marathon). Total time limits: - Half marathon: 4 hours. - Marathon: 6 hours. Normal traffic will resume as follows: 30 km - Passing Søndre Bellevue road after 12:00 PM. 40 km - Passing Nordnesparken after 13:15 PM.     Strøk- og hushistorie i Bergen Ideer og data Overskriften kan tolkes på flere ulike måter. Det er skrevet store bøker om bergenske hus og bergensk byggeskikk. Der kan jeg neppe ha stort å bidra med. Med mitt utgangspunkt som er Arkivverket, og interesse for demografi og sosiologisk historie, blir det de kildemessige og de sosiologiske aspektene jeg vil bruke tiden min på. Selv har jeg arbeidet mest med 1600-, 1700- og tidlig 1800-tallskilder. Derfor vil jeg fravike den oppgitte perioden "etter ca. 1850", og snakke med utgangspunkt i det materialet jeg kjenner. Jeg har vært med på å edb-registrere en del sentrale kilder i Bergen, og vil bruke noe av tiden min på å oppsummere erfaringene våre på det området. De skriftlige kildene som kan være aktuelle for analyse av hus, grunn og eiendom er for Bergens vedkommende pantebøker fra 1680 av (med edb-registrert register til de første bindene), en Grunnebok fra 1686 som forteller om 2355 utskilte tomter, et skiftemateriale som går fra midten av 1690-tallet og gir mange tilsynelatende omfattende registreringer hos i hvert fall den rikeste tredjedelen av befolkningen, og fra 1767 av branntakstprotokoller som skal omfatte alle bygninger i byen, med fra først av kun opplysninger om husets type, antall etasjer og verdi, seinere med mer fullstendige oppmålinger. I Byarkivet ligger blant mye annet interessant materiale oppmålingsprotokoller for deling av tomter, Riksarkivet har jordavgiftsprotokoller fra 1802 med angivelse av areal på byhusene. Det som for meg synes å være den største faren når man arbeider med byhistorien er at man ikke tar tilstrekkelig hensyn til at de fleste kilder normalt utelater en del av befolkningen.

Barnehagejorden inneholder tre ganger mer arsen enn overflatejorden ellers i kommunen. Arsenkildene i barnehagejorden er: · Trykkimpregnert trevirke · Tilkjørt sand Det anbefales at jordundersøkelsen i Bergen fører til følgende tiltak: · Data fra undersøkelsen legges til grunn for en helserisikovurdering. Monitoring anthropogenic activity in the Hardangervidda wild reindeer range Possible applications of crowdsourced Strava-data in remote settings Vilde Grøthe Holtmoen Master’s thesis in Biology, BIO-3950, May 2021 Preface This master thesis (60ECTS) was written as the final thesis of the study-program Masters in Biology at University of Tromsø (UiT), faculty of Biosciences, Fisheries and Economics, department of Arctic and Marine Biology. My supervisors has been Audun Stien (UiT) and Vegard Gundersen (NINA, dep. Lillehammer). Maps showing habitat suitability for wild reindeer on Hardangervidda in summer used in this thesis, was created by Manuela Panzacchi and Bram Van Moorter for NINA’s project Renewable Reindeer (RenewableReindeer (nina.no)) and will be published in an upcoming report (Tema-rapport) for NINA in 2021 (Panzacchi et.al., 2021, in press). Methods, analyses and results are previously published in Panzacchi et.al., 2015a. NINA had the main idea for this thesis and has contributed with the material for my analyses such as raw data from automatic counters, Strava-data and GPS-data from GPS-collared wild reindeer. 2 Abstract Seen in light of the increasing interest of nature-based tourism and recreational outdoor activities in Norway the last decades (Reimers, Eftestøl & Colman, 2003; Haukeland, Grue & Veisten, 2010), spatiotemporal information on human activity in remote areas and knowledge about how this activity may affect wildlife and nature is a crucial part of a knowledge-based management (Gundersen et.al., 2011, p.14; Gundersen, Strand & Punsvik, 2016, p.166). Hardangervidda is the largest national park in mainland Norway and is also home to the largest population of wild mountain reindeer (Rangifer tarandus tarandus), a specie of international responsibility in management and conservation and recently added to the Norwegian red list (Kjørstad et.al., 2017, p.26; Artsdatabanken, 2021).

E-mail corresponding author (Christophe Pascal): [email protected] We report the discovery of the most radioactive granite ever found in Norway, namely the Løvstakken granite, located ~5 km southwest of Bergen. A preliminary gamma-spectrometry survey carried out in the Bergen Region, in autumn 2009, showed that the Løvstakken granite contained unusually high amounts of uranium and thorium. This finding was later confirmed by a more complete regional survey during the summer of 2010. We visited 281 sites and made 502 radiometric measurements in the Bergen Region and adjacent areas. Based on 87 measurements on the Løvstakken granite, we found that it contains ~18 ppm U, ~58 ppm Th and ~6% K on average (median values). Natural radioactivity is not harmful by itself, but the high uranium levels of the Løvstakken granite (i.e., up to ~69 ppm) cause concern in terms of radon hazard. In addition, geothermal gradients in the continental crust are strongly dependent on the amount of radioactive (i.e., heat-producing) elements it hosts. Our study indicates that the Løvstakken granite produces ~8 mW/m3 of heat. Such high heat-generation values may result in anomalously high temperatures in the subsurface of the Bergen Region, that in turn may render the use of geothermal energy economically interesting.
