STEWARDS SUMMARY of JUDICIAL OUTCOMES Event STEWARDS SUMMARY OF JUDICIAL OUTCOMES Event Document 22 2019 VIRGIN AUSTRALIA SUPERCARS CHAMPIONSHIP – RACES 15 & 16 “BETEASY DARWIN TRIPLE CROWN” Hidden Valley Raceway, Darwin, Northern Territory 13th to 16th June 2019 STEWARDS SUMMARY OF JUDICIAL OUTCOMES, Update #1: issued Saturday 15th June 2019 at 1845hrs. Matters from Race 15: Deputy Race Director Incident Determinations Following a Post-Race investigation by the Deputy Race Director into the incident involving Car #19 Jack Le Brocq, Car #21 Macauley Jones and Car #34 James Golding at Turn 1 on Lap 1, where the in-car vision from the Cars, as well as the available vision from Hawk-Eye and the Broadcaster were viewed and along with the advice of the Driver Standards Advisor, determined that the following matters did not warrant any further action, as no Driver was wholly or predominately to blame. Stewards’ Decisions – Penalties imposed Following a Post-Race investigation by the DRD and after an admission by the Driver of Car #78, Simona De Silvestro, the Stewards imposed a 15 second Post-Race Time Penalty on Car #78 for a breach of Article 2.1 of Schedule B2 (Careless Driving) for contact with Car #35 Todd Hazelwood, at Turn 1 on Lap 3 as a result of which Car #35 was pushed off the Race Track surface and lost positions. During the race the Stewards imposed a PLP on Car #15 Rick Kelly for a careless driving breach, contact to Car #14 Tim Slade between Turns 5 and 6 on Lap 2. The Stewards imposed the following Fifteen (15) Time Penalties; Andre Heimgartner Car #7, continued to weave following the lights on the Safety Car being extinguished, - the penalty was served during Car #7 Pit Stop. Will Davison Car #23, unsafe pit release in front of Car #9 David Reynolds, - the time penalty was added to Car #23 Race Time. Matters from Qualifying for Race 15: Deputy Race Director Incident Determinations There were no DRD determinations. Stewards’ Decisions – Penalties imposed There were no penalties issued Matters from Practice 3: Deputy Race Director Incident Determinations There were no DRD determinations. Sunday 23rd August 2020 Matters from Race 18: Race Director Incident Determinations During the Race the RD conducted an investigation at the request of Triple Eight Race Engineering into an Incident at Turn 4 on Lap 35 when Car #18, Mark Winterbottom, overtook Car #97, Shane van Gisbergen, and contact occurred between the two Cars. After reviewing broadcast footage of the Incident and consulting the DSA, the RD determined that there was no evidence of a breach of the Rules by the Driver of Car #18. Stewards’ Decisions – Penalties imposed The Stewards imposed a 5 second Time Penalty on Car #12, Fabian Coulthard, for a breach of Article 2.1.1 of Schedule B2 (Careless Driving) following contact between Car #12 and Car #2, Bryce Fullwood, at Turn 14 on Lap 15 as a result of which Car #2 was pushed wide and Car #12 gained a position. Matters from Race 17: Race Director Incident Determinations There were no determinations. Stewards’ Decisions – Penalties imposed The Stewards issued the following Penalties during the Race in each case for a breach of Article 2.1.1 of Shcedule B2 (Careless Driving): - A 5 second Time Penalty on Car #55, Jack le Broq, arising out of an Incident at Turn 6 on Lap 23 when Car #55 locked brakes attempting to overtake Car #15, Rick Kelly, causing contact with Car #15 as a result of which Car #55 gained a position; - A 15 second Time Penalty on Car #25, Chaz Mostert, arising out of an Incident at Turn 1 on Lap 34 when Car #25 made contact with Car #8, Nick Percat, as a result of which Car #8 spun and lost positions; - A 15 second Time Penalty on Car #35, Garry Jacobson, arising out of an Incident at Turn 1 on Lap 37 when Car #35 made contact with Car #3, Macauley Jones, which caused Car #3 to spin.

Car #14 failed to yield for Car #26 and made further contact with Car #26 at, and after, the apex of Turn 6 causing Car #26 to spin and lose positions.

Stewards’ Decisions – Penalties imposed The following penalties were imposed during Race 19: • A 5 second Time Penalty on Car 2, Bryce Fullwood, for a Pit Lane Infringement (unsafe pit release). • A 15 second Time Penalty on Car 3, Tim Slade, for a Driving Infringement (failing to leave racing room for Car 2 on the exit of Turn 13 on Lap 25). Following a post-race DRD investigation into a report received from Supercars Technical during the Race, and an admission by Matt Stone Racing Pty Ltd, that during its compulsory pit stop, Car 35’s brake lock mechanism was not engaged in compliance with Rule C11.4.2.1, the Stewards imposed a fine of $250 on Matt Stone Racing Pty Ltd. Following a post-race DRD investigation (instigated following a request received from Blanchard Racing) and an admission of a breach of the Code of Driving Conduct by Car 2, Bryce Fullwood, the Stewards imposed a penalty of the addition of 5 seconds to the Race Time of Car 2 in Race 19.

    STEWARDS CLOSING REPORT 2015 DUNLOP V8 SUPERCAR SERIES – ROUND 4 Document Townsville Street Circuit, Townsville, Queensland Appendix DT CR 10th July to 12th July 2015 Thursday 09th July, 2015 The Stewards attended the Team Managers Briefing with all representatives in attendance and no other issued raised from the floor. The Stewards were advised by the DSO the investigation from Round 2 involving Paul Morris Car #67 and Chris Pither Car #42 resulted in an admission to Breach of Rule careless driving, by Paul Morris. The penalty of a loss of 15 Series points was imposed by the Stewards. Friday 10th July, 2015 Practice One; 1100hrs to 1140hrs – 40 minute session. The session was Red Flagged at 1129hrs to 1133hrs for Car #7 Brett Hobson who was stranded in the sand trap at Turn 11. Todd Hazelwood Car #35, was fined $350 for exceeding the pit lane speed limit, recordingSAMPLE a speed on the Pit Lane Speed Report (timing loop) – 48kph. Following an investigation and an admission to a Breach of Rule Schedule B2, Rule 6 failed to observe the Blend Line on exiting the pit lane by Phil Woodbury Car #11, the Stewards imposed a $500 fine. Following an investigation and an admission to a Breach of Rule D5.1.8 failing to leave Pit Bay in Pit Lane order by Matt Chahda Car #18, the Stewards imposed a $500 fine. The Final Results were issued at 1300hrs Practice Two; 1405hrs to 1445hrs – 40 minute session. There were no issues from this session.
