What is Respondus LockDown Browser?

Respondus LockDown Browser is a customized browser that increases the security of online testing in Blackboard.

What if it is required?

If an Instructor requires you to take a test with Respondus LockDown Browser, you will see “Requires Respondus LockDown Browser” next to the name of the test.

When you see this, you will need to use install or have already installed Respondus LockDown Browser to access and take the test. The test will not work in Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, or any other browser.
