WC 29Th June Reception Week Commencing Monday 29th June Reception Communication, language and literacy This week I would like you to share the book of Minibeast poems that is a free Ebook on Oxford Owls.     La adaptación de canciones: High School Musical 2 Andrea Gil Osuna Tutora: Paula Igareda González Seminario 204: Traducción y Medios de Comunicación Curso 2019-2020 Curs 20xx-20xxC RESUMEN La adaptación de canciones: ‘High School Musical 2’ nace de la combinación entre traducción y música y busca demostrar la importancia de adaptar las canciones de los musicales dirigidos al público familiar. Partiendo de la hipótesis de que son esenciales para entender la película porque forman parte de la trama, el trabajo se basa en demostrar lo necesaria que es la adaptación de esas canciones y en proponer los métodos y técnicas para hacerlo. Todo el trabajo gira en torno a un hipotético encargo de traducción: adaptar del inglés al castellano las nueve canciones de la película High School Musical 2 (Kenny Ortega, 2007) en una traducción para doblaje. Así que, después de argumentar la importancia de adaptar canciones de musicales y de explicar cómo hacerlo, el resultado de la parte práctica del trabajo serán las letras adaptadas de las siguientes canciones: What Time Is It, Fabulous, Work This Out, You Are The Music In Me, I Don’t Dance, Gotta Go My Own Way, Bet On It, Every Day y All For One. Cada una de esas adaptaciones irá acompañada de un análisis, donde se relacionarán las decisiones de traducción tomadas con la teoría sobre traducción audiovisual y doblaje necesaria para adaptar canciones. Esos resultados dejarán ver la importancia del trabajo del traductor audiovisual y del uso de técnicas como la traducción oblicua, que convierten el texto meta en una ilusión donde parece que imagen y audio hayan sido creados para coincidir uno con otro a la perfección.
