Service Specification Route: K1 Contract Reference QC41402 This Service Specification forms section 7 of the ITT and should be read in conjunction with the ITT document, Version 1 dated 29 September 2011. You are formally invited to tender for the provision of the bus service detailed below and in accordance with this Service Specification. Tenderers must ensure that a Compliant Tender is submitted and this will only be considered for evaluation if all parts of the Tender documents, as set out in section 11, have been received by the Corporation by the Date of Tender. The Tender must be fully completed in the required format, in accordance with the Instructions to Tenderers. A Compliant Tender must comply fully with the requirements of the Framework Agreement; adhere to the requirements of the Service Specification; and reflect the price of operating the Services with new vehicles. Tenderers should note that the following alterations (subject to consultation) are proposed as part of this Service Specification for introduction with the new Route Agreement: Currently, ex Kingston, Cromwell Road Bus Station, first departures on Mondays to Fridays and Saturdays are non standardised. The first departure on Saturdays is retimed by 10 minutes from 0540 to 0530 to rectify this. The trip ex Hook, Southborough School is withdrawn on Mondays to Fridays Holidays. The Boxing Day service should match the Sunday service. Tenderers must identify the cost of the Boxing Day element of this service separately. EBC has proposed three ‘options’ as part of its consultation; Option 1 would involve a significant increase in the density of development in existing urban areas and Options 2 and 3 would both involve developing areas of Green Belt.

WPI routinely publishes these reports on its website without editorial or peer review iii Abstract The purpose of this project was to update and expand the 2009 Local Centers Study for the Kingston Council. The team devised an improved audit methodology to obtain and synthesize data on the status and health of local urban centers. The study found most centers are in good health with only a small handful ailing. The school is surrounded by pre and post war suburban housing estates with local parks and recreation grounds making a pleasant environment. There is a parade of shops near to the school and 'business park' alongside the nearby A3. The school has a positive and improving reputation.
