(2) Considers that the Minister for Sport is more interested in demolishing, renovating and rebuilding existing stadia in Sydney at cost of $1.8 billion. (3) Notes that the Government committed to provide funding for Rugby League Centres of Excellence on 14 April 2016 but has not yet done so. (4) Calls on the Minister for Sport to provide the funds for a Rugby League Centre of Excellence in Newcastle. (3) Notes that the Government intends to make employees reapply for positions they have held for over a decade. (4) Calls on the Government to reverse its decision and respect the job security of school cleaners. (Notice given 15 November 2017—lapses 16 May 2018) 2605 BLUE MOUNTAINS RAIL SERVICES MS TRISH DOYLE to move— That this House: (1) Considers that in 2013, as a consequence of the Government removing Westmead from Blue Mountains line train services, hospital workers, university staff, students and patients have been inconvenienced in getting to work or attend appointments. (2) Notes that on 26 November 2017, Blue Mountains line trains will no longer stop at Redfern, causing inconvenience and cost for workers and students who need to alight at that station as well as hundreds of people who use Redfern to change trains to other lines on the Sydney Train network. (3) Notes that the Blue Mountains line will now include a stop at Blacktown to allow passengers to board Blue Mountains line trains into the city, which will exacerbate the existing overcrowding problems on the Blue Mountains line. (4) Condemns the Minister for Transport for this decision that will further degrade public transport services.
