The Roche family and Roche Winery are proud to offer the following spaces to help you create the ideal gathering or wine tasting experience.

The Derryshanogue Room Our VIP private tasting room, the Derryshanogue (Der-ē Shan-ōg) Room and adjacent outdoor patio is available year round for both your daytime or night time private wine tasting function or gathering. This quaint building is separated from our Main Indoor Tasting Room and is ideal for a more intimate, private hosting experience as it is set back from the entrance to the grounds of Roche Winery’s downtown Sonoma Tasting Room location. (Capacity: 18 guests indoors; 40 to 50 guests including adjacent patio)

The Cypress Bar The newest addition to our downtown Sonoma tasting space, the Cypress Bar offers a wonderful location for group gatherings, catered affairs, wine and food education programs, and even corporate team-building events. This one-of-a-kind space features the perfect sized bar top, custom- built shelves to display trays of plattered food, and also moveable bar stools – all under the canopy of an 80-foot Himalayan Cypress tree. Capacity: 20 guests seated; 25+ guests standing

Outdoor Patio Tent Site (Seasonal: November to March) We offer an outdoor tent during the Winter and rainy months to allow for year-round use of our side garden patio and also covered access to both our Main Indoor Tasting Room and the Derryshanogue Room protecting your guests from both the rain and the elements. Capacity: 45 guests tent only; 90+ guests including Tent, Main Indoor Tasting Room & Derryshanogue Room

Main Indoor Tasting Room Housed in a lovely 1940’s craftsman style building, our Main Indoor Tasting Room is welcoming to all of our guests. This space has been used to host private group barrel tastings and even sit-down dinners. Our indoor tasting room features a twelve-foot long custom built wood bar, wood molding throughout, historic windows, and access to a covered porch overlooking the Sonoma Square. Capacity: 20 – 25 guests seated; 30+ standing

Winery Production Facility Please ask us about private group tasting and event options at our off-site production facility and barrel room.

Roche Winery would be delighted to host your group wine tasting experience, and our diverse range of offerings can be tailored to any group’s needs. Some of the highlights of our group tasting program include:

• Fourteen current release wines available to select for your tasting • Private and semi-private tastings are offered • Hosts dedicated exclusively to your group • Barrel Tastings offered upon request • “Light Bites” of cheese, charcuterie and accompaniments to pair with your Roche wine • Fully catered meals prepared by our partner restaurant, the girl & the fig

Key Details - Group Tastings ( 8 – 20 guests): • Advanced reservations required (48 hours strongly recommended) • Groups are accommodated three (3) times per day: 11am, 1pm, & 3pm • Depending upon our client’s needs, we are happy to host visiting groups in our Derryshanogue Room, at our Cypress Bar or on our side patio •Wine offerings: Our Sommelier’s selection of five (5) of the Roche family’s wines • Custom programs available are upon request
