Places offering food on Christmas day
St Anne’s day centre is open for takeaways Monday to Friday from 12/12.30. St Anne’s Day Centre People usually start queueing up outside from 11.45.
Open: Mon-Fri 12pm (turn up 11.45) including Serving a homemade cooked lunch and pudding for people to take away, we ask for 25th December, 28th Dec. a small donation of 50p for those that can pay, if not a meal will still be provided.
On Christmas day there will be turkey with all the trimmings and a goodie bag to St Anne’s day centre, St Mary’s Church take away. Hall, 61 St James’s Street, Kemptown, Brighton, BN2 1PR. We also provide toiletries and clothing if we have these in stock. Just turn up no referral needed:
St Mary’s church will offer morning Eucharist at 10am on Christmas day, 25th Dec. First Base Day Centre Open for drop ins. Offers a range of services (including food, showers, lockers, and laundry facilities). We can only provide our services to rough sleepers and have a maximum capacity of 15 people at a time.
Open: 9am-11am, 24th December and 25th Will offer a breakfast on Christmas day, around 10am. One out, one in service. Hove Methodist Church (HMC) HMC will be providing a Christmas meal, delivered to your door, for anyone living in BN3 or BN41 areas who will be isolated, or is experiencing food poverty at this time. Services offering support over the Christmas period (NOT Christmas day)
Sussex Homeless Support Sussex Homeless support is offering two Christmas dinner services: 20th December at 1pm at the Clock tower, then Wednesday 23rd December at 5pm at the Clock tower. Christmas Dinner service ● 20th Dec: 1pm Then we close, open again on Sunday 3rd January, when we will be back to ● 23rd Dec: 5pm normal, offering emergency food/supplies/household item drops alongside the
Clock Tower, Brighton Sunday street kitchen.
The Clock Tower Sanctuary Day centre for 16-25 year olds experiencing homelessness. When open, we will be providing showers, hot meals/ drinks, clothes washing/ drying facilities, access to computers and food parcels as normal.
Open: as usual until 23rd December We are currently limited to having four clients in the centre at any one time, so (10.30-2.30), then half day on 24th December please call 01273 722 353 and select option 1 to book a slot to visit us between (10.30am-1pm) 10.30am and 2.30pm.
CLOSED 25th December – 3rd January. Then We are based at Wenlock House, just off Ship Street. We’re in a little alley usual opening hours apply from Monday 4th way between a clothes shop and The Trading Post café – look for the sign. January.
Holland Road Baptist Church Holland Road Baptist Church: we provide a Monday lunch take away service. This consists of a sandwich, cake, crisps, can of drink, fruit. We serve ground coffee and hot soup. We also provide a bag for later, which always includes a snack that can be made with a kettle. OPEN: 21 Dec, 4 Jan for Monday lunch 12-1pm We also have an emergency food supply, small supplies of clothing and toiletries, CLOSED: 28 Dec and a small store of furniture/ kitchen items for people moving into permanent accommodation. MCC Brighton will be running their usual weekly Street Church services on MCC Brighton Wednesdays and Sundays. We provide hot snacks and drinks 3pm-5pm on Weds 23rd December, and 4pm-6pm on Sunday 27th December. On Sundays we also have donations from Greggs to distribute. Snack service: 3pm-5pm on Weds 23 Dec: Old Steine, by On Christmas Eve 24th Dec from 3pm, we will be holding our annual Street the fountain 3pm Thurs 24 Dec: Clock Tower Church party at the Clock Tower. We will have the usual hot snacks and drinks, 4pm-6pm on Sun 27 Dec: at the Level, near plus donations from Greggs and other shops, plus small gifts. to the children’s play area.
Crossover Free cooked breakfasts, drinks, cereal and various takeaway items for people who are rough sleepers or vulnerably housed or anyone who feels they need it.

Knight Support Knight Support are holding a Boxing Day outreach event, in partnership with the Old Skool Bus Kitchen. We welcome anyone facing homelessness or addiction issues. Come and join us at the Hove Peace Statue for hot food and drinks, Event: Sat 26 Dec, 12pm-3pm clothes, socks (from Happy Socks) and other items are available.
