The following motions are non-controversial, a matter of routine business and will be voted on by one motion:

Mrs. Katherine Gilfillan, Esq., will give her annual School Ethics and Code of ethics presentation to the Board of Education, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:12-21 et seq., at tonight’s meeting.

34. Transfer of Schools TRANSFER

BE IT RESOLVED that the Board approve the request from the parents of Student #40194 for the transfer of their child from Parsippany High School to Parsippany Hills High School for the 2020-21 school year, pursuant to Policy 5120.

35. Resignation - PTHESA RESIGN PTHESA BE IT RESOLVED that the Board approve the following resignation as indicated below:

36. Resignation - Office Aide RESIGN OFFICE AIDE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board approve the resignation of Lisa Miscia, Office Aide at Troy Hills Elementary School effective September 9, 2020.

37. Employment - Substitute Bus Aide EMPLOY SUB BUS AIDE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board approve the individual named below as Substitute Bus Aide for the 2020-2021 school year at a rate of $16.33 per hour effective September 11, 2020:

38. Appointment – Volunteer Extra-Curricular/Athletic Aide 2020-2021 APPOINT VOL EXTRA BE IT RESOLVED that the Board approve the appointment of the following individual as a volunteer extra-curricular athletic aide in the area indicated:

39. Leave of Absence LEAVE OF ABSENCE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board approve a medical leave of absence for employee #30575, Teacher, effective September 2, 2020 through October 30, 2020 utilizing accumulated sick leave pursuant to the Family and Med- ical Leave Act (FMLA).

BE IT RESOLVED that the Board approve a medical leave of absence for employee #31235, Teacher, effective September 2, 2020 through November 16, 2020 utilizing accumulated sick leave and personal days, and an unpaid medical leave of absence from November 17, 2020 through November 20, 2020, pursuant to the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).

40. Leaves of Absence - FFCRA LEAVE OF ABSENCE - FFCRA BE IT RESOLVED that the Board approve a medical leave of absence for the following employee, effective August 31, 2020 through September 11, 2020 pursuant to the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA). She will be paid at her regular rate of pay.
